Projects and Accomplishments

The weather keeps fooling us into believing that spring is just around the corner and then it snows again. I am really looking forward for the warmer weather. I have so many projects to do and right now they almost seem intimidating. Jesse and Eddie have built me three different cupboards for my back porch, shoe racks, a little pantry for my kitchen and they are also going to build some bookshelves for Atreyu's room and then I get to paint everything. I am excited but there is a lot of work to do. I am also going to be painting my kitchen and I need to make the curtains I finally got the fabric for. We are also going to actually get to make a backyard this year.
Atreyu is growing up much too quickly. He is almost 11 months old. He has learned how to crawl up the stairs at Grandpa and Grandma's house and, man, is he fast. We constantly have to be watching him. He is getting closer to walking everyday. He walks along the couch, the walls, anything all the time. He actually stood my himself the other day for about ten seconds. I just keep wondering what happened to my baby but I am so excited about all the things he is learning to do. He is so smart and I love him so, so much. He loves music...he sometimes sings along but mostly he dances to it. What a blessing he is to me!

Teeth, Trucks and So On

Well, it's the beginning of March and one would think that would mean that winter was slowly coming to an end but not so in Bear Lake. We have beautiful days where some of the snow starts to slowly melt and then comes a storm with more snow. Since I am not driving into Montpelier everyday I really don't mind the winter as much but I am ready for spring to get here.
Atreyu is growing more and more everyday. He got one of his upper front teeth a couple weeks ago and the other is breaking through right now so he is not the happiest camper. He's been kind of cranky the past few days but he still is pretty good. He loves to feed himself and he will eat just about everything. The only thing he isn't too fond of is the baby food green beans. We got him a new toy truck with some cars and he was pretty excited when we first showed him. A true boy through and through.
He is getting more and more mobile. He likes to help me load and unload the dishwasher and he is discovering the fun of toilet paper. I thought I heard him waking up from a nap the other day but it turns out he was still sleeping but he looked so cute I had to take a picture.
Jesse really seems to be enjoying working as a scrub tech. Some days are really long but it's a good experience. Starting in April he will only be working as a srucb tech and at the hospital end. No more nursing home for him. He is such a wonderful nurse and I am constantly getting compliments about him. I am so thankful that I am married to such a wonderful man who I love so much!
