Grandpa's New Toy

Eddie and Bernie had been thinking about getting a side-by-side for a while and right before we left on our cruise they bought one. A Cam-Am Maverick. The kids love it (as well as all the adults because it's awesome)! Our whole little family sat in it and went for a fun ride. At one point a bug hit Cambria in the face and she didn't want to go fast anymore but other than that we all had a great time. We're looking forward to taking it to the sand dunes.

These Two

I just love these little cuties so much! Atreyu kept asking to watch Harry Potter and we let him watch the first one and he got all scared. He enjoyed it while he was watching it and we even had to pause the show for him to go find a "wand" outside and to get a broom and his owl whom he named Hedwig. He kept waking up at night for two weeks or so afterward so we have decided not to let him watch Harry Potter again until he is older.

The kids love to have popcorn with chocolate chips so that was the treat for our Harry Potter night.

The kids and I went to King's the other day and they loved looking at the Halloween decor and costumes. They found these masks and were scaring each other. I love that they get so excited for Halloween! It's one of my favorite holidays too!

Fall Festival

Last week we went to the Fall Festival at Atreyu's school. I was asked to bring a cake for the Cake Walk so I made a practice cake earlier in the week for us to enjoy to make sure it turned out the way I wanted it. The kids loved it!

At the festival the kids won a cake, some hats, posters, soda, books, and candy. They also got to play in the bounce houses and they had a blast. Cambria keeps asking to go back to the "Fall Festibal". 

Karate

Atreyu took his first karate test and now he is a Little Dragon orange belt. He did great and the instructor loved that he made a mean, scary face every time it was his turn to demonstrate his forms. He always says the Little Dragon motto as loud as he can in class and he takes all the movements seriously. I'm glad he enjoys it so much.

Cambria comes to all Atreyu's classes and she likes to participate. She is old enough to join the class so I decided to enroll her as well and she likes it just as much as Atreyu. She looks so cute in her Gi!

Family Pictures

Seth agreed to take family pictures for us while he was here. Jesse got home from work a little before 7:00 one evening and we all got ready and took pictures before the sun went down. We had about ten minutes to get some good pictures and thank goodness Seth takes such wonderful photos! 

I really appreciate that Seth and Jenny are always so willing to do this for us. We always get wonderful pictures!

Fun With Family

Seth and Jenny came up with their family at the beginning of September. My kids absolutely love when cousins come to visit and they spend all their time playing with them at Grandma and Grandpa's house. We decided to go out for a 4-wheeler ride one afternoon and other than the fact that one 4-wheeler ran out of gas and we had to go back for more it was a wonderful, beautiful ride. I could smell fall in the air. Abigael and Enoch each drove a wheeler and they did awesome! I can't believe they have grown up so much already! When I first met them Enoch was one and Abigael was four.

Photo Shoot

In September Atreyu had pictures taken at school so I decided to have a little photo shoot with Cambria. She doesn't like to hold still too well but I got some good shots. She is such a funny little girl and she loves her kitties!

We just got Atreyu's pictures back and while he is always a handsome kid I know that he can give a better smile than this.

I have such good looking children!
