Oreos

I like Oreos. They aren't my favorite cookie but I'd never turn one down. I remember when they came out with Mega Stuf Oreos and it was a wonderful day! The more filling the better. So you can imagine my excitement when I was on the internet one day and saw a picture of The Most Stuf Oreos. I thought it was just a joke until we were at the store one day and Atreyu found some. Oh glorious day! There were two packs and I told Atreyu to snatch them both up. They were so delightful and I'm glad I had him grab both packs as we have not found any since. I probably have closer taste preferences to kids than I do to most adults.

Legos

Atreyu loves Legos. He can sit and build them for hours. He loves getting new sets and following the instructions, and then once he has it built, he might leave it that way or he might change it into something completely different. I love watching his imagination. This is a carnival he built complete with a ferris wheel, hammer game, concession stands, and a haunted house. He was pretty proud of himself. I'm pretty proud, too.

Family Pictures Spring 2019

My friend, Ashley Doman, took pictures for us this spring. I really love the almond blossoms and she had said last year that she could take pictures in one of the orchards. She took us to one that was in full bloom and we got some pretty shots. On the way out I noticed a "no trespassing" sign which I had not noticed on the way in. I felt a bit guilty but there was nothing we could do at that point.

I just love all the blossoms and this sweet family of mine.

Valentine's Day 2019

The Doman family invited us over for their annual sugar cookie decorating party. The kids had a fun time with their friends and the cookies were delicious. 

Jesse spoiled me and got me a pearl necklace to go with the pearl earrings he gave me for Christmas. It's crazy how heavy pearls are. I feel so elegant wearing them (even in a plaid, button up shirt).

I feel so blessed to have these cuties and Jesse as my Valentines.

My Kiddos

I'm so thankful that Heavenly Father has given me the gift of being a mother. It can be really difficult at times and I feel very unqualified quite frequently. It amazes me that our Father in Heaven has entrusted these special spirits into my care. Knowing that gives me a boost of confidence; he wouldn't send them to me if he didn't trust me to raise them as He would have done.

I like to notice little quirks about my kids and one that I have always liked is that Atreyu has one white eyelash on his right eye. I noticed it a few years ago and it has never gone away. It wasn't there a few months ago so I thought that that was the end of it but it has since grown back. I told Atreyu that it was Grandpa Kunz's contribution to him. It's hard to see it in this picture. 

Jesse and Atreyu went out to play Warhammer one day so the girls and I stayed home and had a fun day. They got all cozy on the couch and we watched a movie. 

This darling little girl is already 12 weeks old. The time is flying! She is such a joy in all our lives and the kids are just as much in love with her as I am.
