This past weekend Jesse's sister, Janell, and her family came up to visit. Atreyu was so excited to play with cousins and was able to stay the night with them at Grandma and Grandpa's. Friday was a beautiful day. All you really needed was a jacket. The kids got some of their snow gear on so they could go sledding with Uncle Cam. He's so great to take out all the kids and play. I think, after almost four years, Atreyu has finally warmed up to him.
Later that day I was able to go get the massage that Jesse got me for Valentine's Day. I have never had a professional massage before so I thought I might be a bit self conscious but I was so relaxed I didn't have any worries at all. I never would have thought that an arm massage would feel that good but it was awesome. I am definitely doing that again...someday.
On Saturday night we had burgers grilled by Jesse and Grandpa and they were delicious, like always. Kylee's birthday is a little later this month but since they were up visiting I thought it would be fun to make her a cake. I saw this fun idea on Pinterest and tried it out. It was such a pretty cake. Yummy, too!
I really love spending time with family. There's almost always some illness going around but it's worth it to be able to spend time with the people you love and care about. Unfortunately, Cambria is the main one who had to suffer with illness. She had a bad cold that made her eyes and nose run and then on Sunday night she must've got the bug that Cam and Janell had a bit of because she threw up. I feel so bad for her. She ate a bit today and has kept food down but the poor girl just isn't feeling that well.

Pocatello for the Day
Last week I took the kids up to Pocatello by myself to get Atreyu's eyes checked. (They are just fine, by the way.) While we were up there I decided to get the alignment on our van fixed and when I took it in the guy said that something else needed to be fixed to get the alignment right and it was probably going to take about two hours. All of our friends that live in the area were out of town that day so I had to find a way to entertain the kids by myself. We walked over to the mall which turned out to be a pretty amazing feat with two small children. We got Atreyu some new shoes and then the kids got to play for a while. Thank goodness for the play area in the mall.
It was somewhat of a fight to get Atreyu to leave but it all worked out and we made it back to Les Schwab about five minutes before the van was done. That two hour experience really made me grateful to have a vehicle. It would be so difficult to try to take kids all over without one.

It Feels Like Spring
A few weeks ago I was able to take the kids and Cindie out for a walk. The weather was beautiful and we had a good time. Atreyu got his little trike thing out and had a blast driving it all around.
We keep getting a few super nice days here and there and it is making us all very ready for spring. I have some ideas I want to try out in my yard but I have to wait for all the snow to melt first.
