Baby Shower

My friend, Kristy, is about to have her first baby. I was able to attend her baby shower and meet some of her other family and friends. It was decorated so nicely, and the refreshments were so tasty. It's a little bittersweet knowing that I'm not going to be having any more babies, but I love that I can still celebrate in the joy of others that are still on that journey.

Mai's Birthday Party

Mai had a tea party for her birthday, and she invited me and my girls. They had it at this cute little shop. The girls had their tea, ate sweet little snacks, and they were able to decorate these kitty masks. It would have been something I would have absolutely loved to do as a little girl and my girls had so much fun.

Mini Photo Shoot and Beautiful Sunset

The other evening the lighting was so beautiful outside and Cosette looked so adorable, we just had to have a mini photo shoot. We have some big trees in the front yard and that spot is always a nice place to take pictures.

A few nights later, the girls and I came outside after ballet and there was yet another beautiful sunset. California hasn't been my favorite place but it's growing on me a bit. 

Friends

We have been blessed to have some pretty amazing people come into our lives since we've lived here. I love all the good friends my kids have been able to make. Cambria's friend, Izzy, is here almost every weekend. Her mom said that Izzy feels that our house is her second home. It makes me so happy that she feels so comfortable with us.

Snuggling With Daddy

I'm not sure who started it (probably Cosette) but Jesse was laying on the floor and all the kids decided to get blankets and snuggle up with him. I am so very grateful for this family of mine. We're so blessed to have each other and the days where everyone is happy and getting along are the days I live for. 

Valentine's

We didn't do much for Valentine's Day, but Jesse did get me some beautiful flowers and we got all the kids some little gifts. Cosette made a cute little heart and we had to take some selfies. 

I only took pictures of these two, but I am so thankful for all the Valentine's I'm blessed to have.

Dentist

 I took all the kids to the dentist. Magnus didn't actually have an appointment, but he laid down with Cosette while we were waiting, and they just looked so darn cute!

Sadly, Cosette has a bunch of cavities that we're going to have to get taken care of and I'm not looking forward to it.

My First Day at School

I had my first day at school. It wasn't quite what I was expecting it to be, but it was still a good day. Since the school enrolls new students every month, the class has students at every level. I'm hoping I am able to learn all that I can and that I can hopefully make some friends in the class along the way. To celebrate, we all went to Baskin Robbins when I got home.

Fort

Sometimes I feel like I'm a really fun mom but most times I feel like I could do so much better. I couple days ago, I was a fun mom and made an awesome fort in the living room for Cosette and Magnus. It even had lights! I made them some popcorn and they piled in the blankets and watched a movie. It was a fun day.

Banana Masks

Cambria had her friend, Kristina, come over and they thought it would be fun to make banana face masks. They said the masks felt weird but their skin was so soft afterward. I really like that my kids' friends like to come to our home. I hope they always feel welcome here.

Mysterious

Cosette is such a funny little girl. As I was putting her to bed last night, she was looking at the "That's Not My Kitten" book. On a particular page, she would look at it and say, "that's mysterious," in an adorable little voice. Apparently, it was mysterious that the kitten on that page wasn't "my kitten." I was even assigned to be a secret agent to try and solve the mystery. She's so cute!

I sure do love these girls of mine.
