Missionaries
I love having missionaries in our ward and I love when we have the opportunity to get to know them but then they leave, and it can be hard to say goodbye. We recently said goodbye to Elder Clemons but thankfully we get to keep Elder Korab a bit longer.

Last Day of School 2023
Atreyu and Cambria just finished another year of school. Cambria is moving on to 6th grade and Atreyu to 8th grade. My kids are growing up for too quickly for my liking, but I am proud of the good people they are becoming. To celebrate the end of the school year the kids played in the sprinkler and watched a movie with a bunch of friends. It was a good way to kick off the summer break.
I love that Cosette likes to be a part of the kids' pictures. She will be starting kindergarten in a little over a year!
Me and My Girls
I love that I have been blessed with not only one but two daughters to enjoy life with. These two girls have so much energy and they definitely keep me on my toes, but I completely enjoy the time I get to spend with each of them. Love my girls.

My 39th Birthday
It's crazy to me that I just turned 39! I don't feel like I'm almost 40 (other than the occasional random pains that seem to come from nowhere). It seems like I was just in middle school, and that I was just getting married, and that I just found out I was pregnant for the first time. Time really goes by so quickly. I was able to celebrate my birthday with my family and the Lockwoods. We went out for Mexican and then came home for some ice cream cake from Coldstone. It was a wonderful day.
This beautiful cactus also bloomed for the first time right around my birthday.
Also, how cute are these two?
Coco Competition
Being in esthetician school means that there are occasional makeup challenges. We just had a Coco (from the movie Coco) or Day of the Dead competition. I am no good at makeup, so I teamed up with my friend, Kaelynne, who did the makeup. I gave some ideas and provided the costume. It ended up being more fun than I thought it would be and we got first place. She did a great job!

Mother's Day 2023
My kids were very sweet and got up to make me breakfast in bed for Mother's Day. They all gave me some beautiful flowers and Cambria gave me this cute jar that she had decorated along with some flowers that she made. I'm so thankful that I get to be the mom to all my sweet kids and that I'm blessed to have each of them and their daddy in my life.

Softball
Cosette and I went to the ball fields to watch Matthew Lockwood play some ball. Matthew is autistic and he's on a special league with other kids with all kinds of different disabilities. It was so fun watching him play and get so excited. He's such a sweet kid. Cosette found some other little girls to play with and I had a good visit with Krystle. It was a good day!

Painting
Cosette asks to paint occasionally and sometimes I let her. I need to be better about giving into her wishes for creativity more often. I did let her and Magnus do some painting and they loved it! It also made me feel like a better mom.

McCabe Potluck
We were able to have another potluck with the McCabe family as well as the Adys. I rarely remember to take pictures at the potlucks, but Cambria took a few pictures of the two of us. I am thankful for her and her fun-loving personality. I love having the opportunity to spend time with the McCabe family and visit with them. They have brought us into their ohana with open arms.

Elder Gary E. Stevenson
Saturday was a busy day. After the girls' ballet recital Atreyu and I got ready and drove to Lodi for a youth conference with Elder Gary E. Stevenson. Jesse and I had attended a conference earlier with him and he shook the hands of every person at that meeting. After the youth meeting, Atreyu was also able to shake his hand. It was such an awesome opportunity to meet and listen in person to an apostle of Jesus Christ. I am so thankful for the gospel in my life, and I love that my kids are building their own testimonies of it.
Swan Lake
The girls had the opportunity to participate in the ballet of Swan Lake. Sister Waters is so sweet and patient teaching all these children ballet for free. We appreciate her so much and the girls love dancing. It's been fun watching them learn and improve.
