Beetlejuice Beetlejuice

Cambria and I took Raquel to her first movie in over four years. We started the Halloween season off right by watching Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. I actually liked it better than the first one.

Spur of the Moment Dinner

We were spending time with the Pettys and we all decided to go out to dinner. Jessica's family met us there. It was pure chaos but so great at the same time. 

Dan + Shay

Months ago, we planned to go see Dan + Shay with the Lockwoods. Unfortunately, Jesse's surgery was scheduled for two days before the concert, so he wasn't able to attend. He still wanted me to go, so I gave his ticket to Jessica and Kirk chauffeured us girls to and from the concert. I had such a great time! The only other concerts I have been to have been rock concerts, so it was fun to experience something a little different. 

Weight Loss Surgery

Jesse has been considering having weight loss surgery for the past couple of years. He didn't know if it was the right decision for him or not until he went to the temple earlier this year and felt like that's what he needed to do. After months of appointments and jumping through insurance hurdles, he finally had the surgery. I'm excited for him to be healthier and to feel more comfortable in his own skin. I know it's going to be a huge adjustment, but I'm really proud of him for taking such a big step. He was very tired and groggy post-op. After spending some time with him, I left him in the hospital overnight. I hope he feels a bit better tomorrow. 

Temple

I've been blessed to have the opportunity to go to the Sacramento temple twice this past week. The first time was with Jessica and Jennie Hokansen and then I got to go with my sweetie. 

Happy Birthday, Raquel

We had a girls' dinner at Chili's to celebrate Raquel's birthday. It's a good thing it wasn't a busy night otherwise I'm sure or server would've been trying to push us out the door. We spent a couple hours just visiting. The only downside was that they were out of Diet Coke.

Sleepy Snugglers

Are these two the cutest? I think so. They don't even care that it's a tiny bed. 

I Love This Girl

Cambria loves holidays as much, if not more, than I do. It's barely September but we are both ready for Halloween.
