Happy Birthday, Brendan!

We went to the Lockwoods to celebrate Brendan's birthday. Honestly, us moms make any excuse to get together. It's great that there are so many birthdays we can celebrate!

Portraits

Krystle has been wanting us to do portraits of each other knowing how ridiculous and funny it would be. We drew names and then portraits. I got to say, for not having much artistic talent, I think my picture of Atreyu turned out pretty darn good.

These Two

I found Cosette and Magnus in Magnus' bed the other night playing on their tablets. I don't think they were playing a game together, but I love that they were snuggled up together.

Waiting for the Kids

Magnus and I decided to take some selfies while we were waiting for the kids to get out of school. I sure do love this boy!

First Day of School

The kids went back to school after much too short of a summer break. Cosette was a lot more confident starting first grade, Cambria has only one year left in middle school, and Atreyu is already a sophomore in high school. Why do kids have to grow up so fast?

Birthday Shopping, Nails, Cake, Earrings

Jesse has worked hard the past year or so to build a better relationship with Cambria. They enjoy watching anime together, and they have a lot of similar taste in food. He promised he would take her shopping for her birthday, so on Thursday the two of them and Izzy went to the mall. She gets far more spoiled when she shops with dad then when she goes with me.

Jessica also spoiled Cambria for her birthday when she took her to get her nails done.

Even though she'd already had a party, we did a little celebration with the Pettys and Krystle and Jonah Lockwood, and Jessica and Izzy. 

We ended up having a piercing party. Cambria, Melina, Romulus, Andrew, Jessica, Izzy, Krystle, and I all got our ears pierced. It was an exciting day!
