Soccer

Atreyu decided he wanted to try soccer. I guess it's really competitive down here so I don't know if he will ever be able to get on an actual team. I signed him up for a Kidz Love Soccer class. It's a class that teaches the basics of soccer. He's enjoyed it so far but he's not the most coordinated. Maybe with some more practice he'll get a bit better but it's fun just to see him having a good time.

Bath Time With Cosette

Atreyu and Cambria both fight over who gets to take a bath with Cosette. It's a rare occasion that she takes a bath on her own. The big kids are too big to take a bath with each other now but they both love playing in the tub with Cosette. It's crazy to see how much my babies have grown.

Walk/Jog-a-Thon

The kids had a walk/jog-a-thon fundraiser at school. I think Atreyu ended running over a mile and a half. He gets the endurance and energy from his dad. I've never been able to run that far in that short a time. I think Cambria might be more like me. I'm pretty sure she went just under one mile. They both did great!

Bikeway Service Project

The city of Manteca had a day of service with different activities for the community to help with. Atreyu organized his scout group to help clean the Tidewater Bikeway and in a couple hours our group cleaned up over 20 pounds of trash. It was a great way for the whole family to get out and serve.

My Cambria Girl

Cambria has always been our sour patch kid. When she's happy (which is the majority of the time) she is such a sweet girl. When she's mad, however, watch out. My mom says I was the same way. Cambria loves to help me in the kitchen and before school started she usually enjoyed grocery shopping with me too. She's always been a mommy's girl. She likes to play with Cosette and help me get her ready. I'm so thankful I have the opportunity to watch this girl grow and become her own person. I'm excited to see what she decides to do in the future.

Jam

There are a few things that I make for my family just because I love them. Jam is one of those things. I don't like it but Cambria and Jesse love it. I made it in Idaho a few times but I haven't made it since we started traveling because I didn't have much freezer space. One of our neighbors down here gave us their old deep freezer so I naturally had to make some jam. It must have turned out great with how much Cambria likes to eat it.

I Can't Get Enough of This Baby

I take weekly pictures of all my babies during their first year. It's fun to see the little changes week to week. Here is week 41 of Cosette. She wiggles so much it's hard to get a decent picture of her but I think I was able to capture a few cute ones of her this week.

Home Depot Craft Day

At the beginning of every month Home Depot has a free craft that the kids can make. I took the kids for the first time this morning and they made these cute scarecrow plant holders. They hammered, painted, and stuck on the cute scarecrow stickers. Afterward I let them pick out a plant to put in them. I love how they turned out!

Ward Temple Day

We had the opportunity to go to the temple with our ward. The adults did a session while the youth watched the kids. I love to go to the temple any chance I'm able. Having a baby makes it difficult to leave for long but now that she's almost one I really want to make more of an effort to go. I love being able to take the kids to the temple and teach them the importance of the covenants we make there.
