Almost School

Cosette is about to start kindergarten. She is a little excited but very nervous. We went to an orientation where she was able to see her classroom and meet her teacher. I think that helped her to feel a bit more comfortable. Her friend, Austin, is also starting kindergarten but they aren't in the same class. She was happy to find out her friend, Nora, will be, though. I think she's going to do great at school. I just don't know what me and Magnus are going to do without her.

Fuji Sushi

Jesse and Atreyu love eating at Fuji Sushi Buffet in Elk Grove. They can eat as much and as many types of sushi rolls that their hearts desire. Cambria has recently tried sushi and decided that she also likes it. I don't care for it (mostly because I don't really like fish) but the four of us went to Fuji Sushi. I ate way too many potstickers and everyone else enjoyed all the sushi. Thanks to Jessica for watching our littles.

Andrew and Cosette

I love how much Andrew and Cosette love each other. They are both so happy to see the other whenever they get together. It makes my mommy heart happy!

Shopping with Krystle

I love that I love my friends' kids and that they love mine. Krystle took Cambria and Izzy shopping for Cambria's birthday. They went to the mall and JCPenney. They window shopped, tried on clothes and accessories, ate Cinnabon, and Krystle bought Cambria a Loungefly for her birthday. What spoiled girls and what a wonderful friend.

Nutella Ice Cream

Cambria so this video that said you could take an almost empty container of Nutella and add cream and sugar to it. Then mix it all up and put it in the freezer and you'd get Nutella ice cream. She and Izzy tried it, and they loved it!

Snuggles

If Lexi could sleep anywhere she wanted, it would be with me and Jesse but her normal place is with Cambria since she loves to sleep with Lexi. However, if Lexi gets sleepy before Cambria goes to bed, she almost always ends up snuggling with Magnus and it's adorable.

Young Men's Camp

Atreyu had the opportunity to go to Yosemite with the Young Men in our ward and spend a few days there. They went on some incredible hikes and Atreyu even did some rock climbing. He along with Romulus climbed higher than anyone else and they had an amazing time. 

Karaoke

I love karaoke! It is so much fun especially when everyone gets involved. We had the Pettys and Jessica's family over and it was so loud and so much fun listening to and watching everyone sing and have fun together. When we went back to Idaho in June, we made the decision that we would move back there in March of 2026. A couple years ago, I would've been ecstatic about finally having a date that we would be moving back. Things have changed for me since meeting the incredible people that have become my family here. They make me never want to move back and amidst all the karaoke chaos I just felt that it was all very bittersweet. I was so happy feeling the love that was there, but my heart broke a little bit knowing I would be leaving these people I love so much. I know I just have to make the best of the time that we do have left here and look forward to being near our family and friends in Idaho.
