Thrifting

Raquel, Jessica, and I took our big girls thrifting in Sacramento. After checking out at one of the stores, we realized that everything was 50% off that day. Naturally, we made a second round through the store. It was such a fun day shopping and eating out with the girls (who I didn't get a picture of).

My Silly Boy

Magnus and I pick up my friend's son, Thomas, from preschool a few days a week. They have a fun caterpillar in the front that Magnus loves and asks to take a picture with almost daily. We usually don't have time, but we did on Monday. He's so cute!

Melina's K-Pop Birthday Party

Raquel put on a great birthday party for Melina's 11th birthday. We helped with a lot of decorations and cupcakes. The best part was the photo booth. We all had fun with it.

Lexi Love

Our whole family loves Lexi but it's rather rare when she sits and snuggles with the littles. On Friday she snuggled with both of them. They were so happy!

Fun With Filters

The kids always love it when we can play with different filters on the phone. Here are a few of my favorites. 

St. Patrick's Day 2026

We never do a lot for St. Patrick's Day, but I did give the kids their usual pot of chocolate gold coins, as well as some Lucky Charms that turned the milk green. For whatever reason, I only got a picture of Cosette that day.

At-Home Rollercoaster

Cambria and Melina took the littles on a rollercoaster ride right at home. They turned on videos of rollercoasters, the littles sat in laundry baskets, and the big girls shook them and lifted them up to make it feel like they were on a rollercoaster. The littles loved it!

 

Sunbeams

Magnus has been enjoying sunbeams with Krystle. Their class can get a little crazy, but the kids love it.

 

Dr. Suess Party

I kept the girls home from school on the last day before spring break so that I could attend Krystle's mother-in-law's funeral and help her with anything she needed. Cosette was so upset that she couldn't got to school that day since they were going to be celebrating Dr. Seuss. To make up for keeping her at home, we had an awesome Dr. Seuss party complete with friends, games, books, and themed food.

Celtic Faire

We took the kids to the Celtic Faire again this year. It's always so fun checking out all the different shops, eating the yummy food, and listening to the music. It makes me sad that this is the last year we will be here in California for the faire. We'll have to find some in Idaho and Utah to go to instead.

Awards

I'm so proud of my kids and the fact that they are such good students and people. Atreyu and Cambria have both maintained a 4.0 GPA this year. Cambria received an award for honor roll as well as the Outstanding Student award.
