Happy 4th Birthday, Magnus!

Our baby turned four! Magnus is such a fun little guy. He loves to tease, just like his dad, and he loves for people to play with him, especially Dad. He still loves to snuggle his mama, but he also likes to tag along with and do the same things the big kids do. He wanted a Transformers cake this year. We celebrated him with cake and ice cream with some friends.

I had a couple small cakes left from Magnus' birthday that Cambria and Cosette had fun decorating the day after.

Preschool

I recently started picking up my friend's son, Thomas, up from preschool three times a week. They have a big caterpillar outside the front door that Magnus loves to climb on, and he thinks we need to take a picture of him every time. Cosette even came with us one time.

Band Concert

Cambria had another band concert that we were able to attend. When she first started in 6th grade, they really did not sound very good. The whole band has improved so much and it's actually enjoyable to listen to them play. She did a really great job!

An "Esthetic" Movie Night

Cambria has recently been on a kick where she wants everything to look "esthetic." She and Izzy even had a movie night, and they had to make the charcuterie board esthetic. 

70's Work Party

Jesse and I had the opportunity to go to his 70's themed work party. I feel like he always has to reintroduce me to everyone he works with as I don't remember them from one year to the next. We were able to dance the night away as our friends watched our kids for us.

A Haircut

For a couple of months, I have been telling Magnus that we needed to get his hair cut. He really didn't want to so I finally resorted to bribery and promised to take him to McDonald's if we could cut his hair. We ended up getting to take my handsome little boy out on a lunch date.

Sleeping Beauty

A few nights ago, after Cosette had gone to bed, I came into the girl's room to say good night to Cambria. I peeked up at Cosette and she was sleeping with this sleep mask. She is so sweet.

Relief Society Paint Night

For a Relief Society activity this month, we had a paint night. We were given instructions on how to paint the sacred grove. I didn't like mine much at first but I when I added some extra touches to it, it started to grow on me. I actually really enjoyed painting, and I want to do it again sometime.

Yay Primary!

Magnus had his first day of primary. He was a little hesitant to go but seeing that he was in Krystle's class made him happy to stay. My babies are growing up far too quickly.

Goofy Lexi

The kids who live here and visit here are always getting into snacks and then leaving wrappers laying around. Lexi sometimes really appreciates it like she did yesterday when she found this chip bag and tried to get any remaining crumbs out of it. It was pretty funny when she got the bag stuck on her head.

My Silly Babies

I love my silly babies even though they think they need to climb onto the counters.

 

New Year's 2025

What we originally just planned to be a small get together with the Lockwoods for New Year's turned into a rather large party with the Lockwoods, Pettys, and Jessica's family. Cambria and the bigger girls set up a "carnival" outside for all the kids. We had a bunch of delicious appetizers and goodies. We played Mafia and ended the night with some fireworks. I am so thankful that we get to do life with all these families. I sure do love them.
