A Quiet Place

Jesse and I had a date night with Kirk and Krystle. We went to dinner and then went out to see A Quiet Place Day One. I love having these date night buddies. I love how Jesse has so many interests and that he can get along with just about anyone. It makes it so that I get to spend time with him as well as my bestie!

Corgi Cake

Jessica asked me to make a corgi cake for her daughter, Destiny's, birthday. Cambria and Izzy made a few of the decorations with clay and they helped me decorate the cake. It turned out so cute!

Cake in a Mug

Cambria and Izzy are always trying out new drinks and different recipes. This time they made their own personal cakes in a mug. I took a little taste, and they were really good. I love the friendship these two have.

Pool Day

Our friends, the Pettys, have a pool at their apartment complex that they invite us to use with them. All my kids, except for Magnus, have been water babies. They have always loved bath time and swimming, but Magnus is a different story. When it comes to swimming, he usually spends very little time in the water, and he always has to be held. He made a big step the last time we were at the pool and started swimming around the pool in his life jacket all on his own. He's actually starting to enjoy the water. I loved seeing his excitement that he was able to get around by himself. The other kids all had a blast, too!

Mask it Up

Cambria, Cosette, Izzy, and Melina had a spa day with their facial masks. These girls always have fun with each other. They are all literally so adorable!

Inside Out 2

Krystle and I took our kiddos to see Inside Out 2. I love how the Inside Out movies give such an accurate portrayal of emotions. My favorite emotion in this movie was nostalgia, probably because I've reached that age where I feel nostalgic quite often. We're so blessed to have this amazing family to spend time with.

Idaho

We took our annual trip to Idaho this year. Izzy got to come with us, and she had a blast on the farm. We worked the cows, went on four-wheeler rides, saw my friend's new puppies, had dinner and a movie with friends in Pocatello, celebrated Jesse's birthday, roasted hot dogs, and ended the trip in Provo for Enoch's mission farewell and some Waffle Love. It was such a great trip! I loved that we got to see so many friends and spend time with family while we were there.
