Wicked for Good

We had a great girls' night (with a lot of our boys, too ;)) when we went to the theater to see Wicked for Good. I really enjoyed it, but the majority of the movie is very sad and sullen, so I didn't love it as much as the first one. There was a song that made me cry thinking of the friends who have changed me for good just by knowing them. It hit a lot harder than I think it otherwise would have if we weren't moving soon. I have been blessed with such beautiful friendships. It's going to be very difficult to say good-bye when the time comes.

Great Wolf Lodge

As part of her birthday gift, Jessica took Cosette with her family to Great Wolf Lodge. Cosette was able to skip two days of school and spend time with some of her favorite friends.

Awards

Cambria and Cosette both received awards at school. I am so grateful that my kids are all such good students.

Honors Band

Cambria had the opportunity to play flute in the honors band this year. It was obvious that they had all practiced hard. They did such a great job! Izzy, Raquel, Melina, Krystle and Brendan all came out to support her. Cambria has a better bestie than mom; Izzy brought her flowers.

Boomers

Krystle invited us to join them at Boomers for Matthew's birthday. We played mini golf, drove go carts, and played laser tag. We then went to dinner and had fun celebrating a very special boy!

My Sweet Boy

I sure do love this little boy of mine, who tells me he loves me, gives me snuggles, and teases me every day. He's just like his daddy.

Halloween

We took the kids trick or treating with the Lockwoods and Pettys. A few of the houses had some pretty rad decorations. We particularly liked the house that was set up as a mad scientist's lab, and the one that had the bubble, fog machine. It was a great night that perfectly wrapped up the Halloween season.

Trunk-or-Treat

We attended the Union Ward trunk-or-treat for the last time. Everything is starting to feel very bittersweet knowing that we're moving soon. Atreyu, Cambria, Cosette, Brendan, Jonah, Izzy, and Junior decided they all wanted to be Demon Slayer characters for Halloween. It was fun seeing them all together in their costumes. They looked awesome! Magnus dressed up as Baby Saja from K-Pop Demon Hunters. Kirk and Krystle dressed as Aragorn and Arwen and Jesse and I were Samwise Gamgee and Rosie Cotton from The Lord of the Rings. 

I helped Kirk and Krystle decorate their truck in Minion style.

Cosette and Magnus even got to sit in a fire truck.
