New Year's Eve

We made it through another year. I know the past two years have been very difficult for some people but I feel like we have been very blessed. We've been able to pay off all our debt, save money, and best of all, little Magnus joined our family. We've had many wonderful memories this past year.

We spent New Year's Eve at the Huynhs. We ate food, the boys played games, and the girls did my hair, makeup, and nails. Atreyu and Cambria stayed the night with them and I brought the littles home and put them to bed. Jesse and I were still awake but in bed at midnight when we heard all the fireworks and the kids with their noise makers right outside. I'm so thankful for such wonderful neighbors who are so good to our family. I just realized that I didn't get any pictures with Atreyu. 

Big Boy Magnus

I don't know how this baby has grown up so much already. I feel like Magnus was just born but now he's walking around, eating all kinds of foods, climbing up and down the stairs, and using the kitchen stool as a chair. I didn't know he knew how to climb into the stool until I looked over one day and saw him sitting there. I'm so thankful that he came and completed our family. He's such a blessing and we all love him so much.

Christmas 2021

Jesse had to work on Christmas day so we celebrated the day before. Having kids at Christmas is the best! Their excitement gets me more excited than I already am. I didn't take any pictures on Christmas except for ones of us in our new jammies. I decided that I wanted Jesse and I to have some as well but I didn't think that he would wear actual jammies so I got him a t-shirt and pants. Come to find out, he'd like some jammies too, so I ordered him some to match with us. I am so thankful for this family of mine and the time we have to spend together.

Christmas Break With the Huynhs

During the Christmas break our neighbor, Michelle, was super sweet and ordered a gingerbread house kit for each kid to have their own. It was rather difficult to get the frosting out of the piping bags at first which caused a bit of frustration but once it softened up, the kids had no problem with it. I was helping pipe Cosette's and I kept thinking how good she was being sitting there watching me and then I realized that she was eating most the decorations for her house. It was so funny! Our friend, Kalli, was very kind and shared some of her decorations with Cosette to add to her house. It was a fun day and the kids all did such a great job.

The next day I made sugar cookies for the kids to decorate.

I have a box of bows in my room for Christmas presents which Magnus keeps spilling all over. I was getting ready and Cosette came in my room and started playing with the bows, too. Once she was finished, this is what I found. I love that she's starting to organize things. It makes my mommy heart proud.

All Ready for Church

Look at these cute kids in their Christmas outfits. I love the tradition of getting them new outfits at Christmas time.

The Littles

Magnus started walking a few weeks ago and he's becoming a pro. He rarely crawls anymore. He's our earliest walker but I guess he has to do it so he can keep up with his older brother and sisters. He and Cosette love each other. They are so fun to watch together even though, at times, he makes her crazy.

Cambria's Mission Project

Every 4th grader in California has to do a project on the California missions. We put so much effort into Atreyu's that we saved it for Cambria to use. She helped add a garden, fountain, cemetery, and Indian houses.
