New Year's Eve

We were able to go to church on New Year's Eve and then later that day, the Lockwoods came over to play DnD. Maybe I'm a nerd, but I love that game so much. It was fun ringing in the new year with this amazing family.

I'm so thankful for this past year and all the memories we've made. A lot of good things have happened and I'm looking forward to another year to become a little better.

Bring Your Own Board Party

I had a girl party with some of my favorite ladies. We each brought a "board" and then pigged out on all the deliciousness. We all wore jammies and had a sock gift exchange. We then played games and had some good conversations. 

Bike Rides and Walks

Cambria took Lexi on a bike ride in her basket. I think Lexi liked it. When they got back, Magnus thought he should take Lexi on a walk. 

Bearded Dragon

Atreyu is thinking about getting a bearded dragon. He's wanted one for a long time so he's going to do some more research to make a good decision. He was able to hold this baby one in Petco.

Ice Skating

We went ice skating with the Lockwoods while Jesse was at work. He has no interest in skating and my kids really wanted to go. I'm so glad I had Kirk and Krystle there to help me with the littles and take pictures. Magnus was all excited about it and skated for maybe five minutes and then he was done. I was a bit nervous about taking both littles, but it turned out to be so fun.

Christmas Day

We woke up on Christmas morning and the kids got to see their gifts from Santa and then we opened presents. We had our traditional pigs in a blanket and monkey bread for breakfast. Later that day, Jessica and her family came over. The kids played all day, Jessica and I made food and everyone at when they felt like it. All us girls also watched some Twilight. It was a nice Christmas. And I just realized I didn't get any pictures of Jesse.

Lord of the Rings Parts 1 and 2

We decided to have a Lord of the Rings movie marathon with the Lockwoods over the break. We were able to watch two of them before the new year. It was fun eating snacks and lounging together while watching an awesome movie!
