Tie Dye

The kids were invited to a birthday party for a girl in the ward. We brought white t-shirts, and everyone was able to tie dye their own shirt. I think they turned out so great! Cambria thinks we need to do it again at home.

I'm thankful for all the friends we've been blessed to make here in Manteca. When the time comes to move back to Idaho, I know it will be difficult leaving such wonderful people behind.

Summertime Fun

Cosette and Magnus have discovered what Atreyu and Cambria have known for years: that dad makes a great horse! They have so much fun climbing up on his back and taking rides all over the living room.

We went to the pool, and I had to laugh at the marks on Atreyu's forehead from his goggles.

We got Twix a couple years ago but the neighbors have basically taken him over since they give him more attention than my kids do. He sometimes visits us and the kids love it!

Atreyu's First Temple Trip

Atreyu had the opportunity to go to the temple with the youth to do baptisms for the dead. It was the first time he's been to the temple, and he loved it! I'm so grateful for temples and that we have two within about an hour or so from us. We're so excited for the temples in Montpelier and Modesto!

Back to Idaho

We love going back to Idaho every chance we get. We are still planning to eventually move back, but the timing isn't right just yet so we will just keep enjoying the time we have while we visit. We all helped work the cows with Grandma and Grandpa and the Taylors. The kids always enjoy bottle feeding the calves and playing with the kitties. 

Grandma and Grandpa got this awesome swing for their tree a few years ago and it is one of everyone's favorite things to use while visiting. I loved seeing all my kids laughing together as we pushed them on the swing.

Just throwing in some cuteness!

Cambria, Cosette, Alora, and I got to take Grandma and Grandpa's new Jeep to town to pick up pizza. It was definitely fun to drive and it made me miss my Jeep. I will be getting one again, someday.

I decided to pull out Cambria's old tricycle for Cosette. She loved it, especially the fact that it was pink. And Magnus had fun eating rocks.

The library hosted a summertime activity that I took Cambria and Cosette to. It was fun being back in that library. I sure do miss the Story Hours there.

The girls also had fun playing with Jesse's cousin's daughter, Ruby. Aunt Nayda had some fun things for dressing up.

One of the biggest highlights of this year's trip would have to be the four-wheeler ride we took up in the Bern hills and over to Ovid. We explored a lot of the places we have been before, but we also went places I'd never been to before. We even saw this amazing beaver dam. 

I'm glad we were able to do so much as we visited. We sure do love and miss Idaho.
