There's a cute fruit and vegetable shop here in Manteca called Perry's Market. Jesse likes to get fresh fruit there and that is where the kids and I went to pick out pumpkins. They had a pretty good selection and it was fun walking around and seeing all the different styles of pumpkins and gourds. Atreyu and Cambria usually like to find the biggest ones, which is what Atreyu did, but Cambria decided to get one of the white "Fairy Tale" pumpkins and Cosette picked out a cute little one.

Idaho
It was so nice to be able to go back to Idaho again. I miss it so much and it's even worse when I'm pregnant. I'm so thankful for the peace I feel every time I'm there. I'm such a homebody and I don't always like change so it's nice to go back to my comfortable place where not much changes.
I'm so proud of Cambria for making the decision to be baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was so excited for her baptism and I am so thankful for the support she had from family and friends. Grammie and Grampy came from Montana, the Taylors came up from Provo, the Browers came from Malad, we had the Harpers and Easleys from Bern, and the Christiansens and Huynhs tuned in online thanks to Zoom.

Just Some Shenanigans
We don't visit Diesel as often as we should but the kids love every chance the get to see him. We were able to take him for a walk to the park where the kids had fun playing. He's getting old and he's basically deaf, but he still has the energy to go for walks.
Jesse and I were able to enjoy General Conference and the kids enjoyed the conference store. They got these eyeball bouncy balls and have been having fun with them.Friday, October 9, 2020
Baptism Pictures
We were supposed to have Cambria's baptism here in California in September but because of Covid restrictions we couldn't even use the font at the church. We had a couple people from the ward offer their swimming pools which would have been a neat experience but none of the grandparents were very comfortable traveling down here. We decided we would have her baptism in Idaho in October. We're all excited for an excuse to go to Idaho.
I told Cambria a couple weeks ago that we should start looking for a baptism dress. We got two different dresses that didn't work out but finally found this one that Cambria loves and she looks so darling in.
I can't believe this baby girl of mine is so grown up. I find it interesting how different Cambria is from me. We have similarities but I feel like we have many more differences. She doesn't care much for playing with Barbies or watching princess movies, but she loves playing outside, getting dirty, and watching movies with strong female leads who don't need saving. I love our differences and she helps me to see things from a different point of view when I let go of my stubbornness and let her.
