Bike Olympics

For cub scouts, the kids brought their bikes, decorated them, and then participated in different courses on their bikes. Cambria again got to join in.

I really appreciate all the effort the leaders put into scouts. They make it fun as well as educational for the boys.

Dogs, Cookies, Firetrucks, and Tea Sets

Like I have said many times before, Cambria loves Diesel. She'll snuggle up with him when she watches her kindle, dress him up, take him for walks, and constantly love on him. I don't think he always appreciates it but he tolerates it very well.

I decided to try and bake sugar cookies in the oven and I was actually able to do it! The cook times and temperatures need to be adjusted a lot of the time for any baked good but I was able to figure out the right time and temp and the cookies turned out perfect. The kids loved decorating them and we all loved eating them.

This past week Atreyu's cub scout group went to the fire station. They took a tour, sat in a firetruck, and sprayed the hose. Cambria was excited that she and our neighbor Mia were also able to go.

A while back, Jesse bought me this tea set while we were in Chinatown. I had just put it under the RV in storage since I don't really have a place for it but one day I decided that we needed to have a tea party and use it. Jesse even joined us.

Baby Shower

My friend, Ashley Doman, threw a baby shower for me. She did a Harry Potter theme since I love Harry Potter so much. She made these darling "snitch" cupcakes and these cute onesies.

It was fun spending time with the girls, playing some baby games, and visiting kid free.

The Phantom of the Opera

A few months ago Jesse came home from work and I was watching "The Phantom of the Opera". He laid on the couch as I finished up making dinner and I told him I would really like him to take me to the Broadway production someday. At that moment he was actually looking to see if it was ever in San Francisco and sure enough, it was coming there in the fall. We booked tickets and we were able to go this past Wednesday. It was nice to be able to get away together for the day and spend time just the two of us. I absolutely loved the show. It was fantastic and the sets were incredible. I told Jesse after that I could watch it again right that moment.

Since Jesse spoiled me and took me to this show that I've always wanted to see, I told him he got to choose where we ate for dinner. He chose a sushi place that we were able to walk to. I really enjoyed spending the day with him and I appreciate that he tries to find ways to make me happy. I'm blessed to have him.

A Stubborn Tooth

After Cambria lost her first tooth I looked in her mouth and realized that a new tooth was coming up behind the front bottom tooth that she hadn't lost yet which was hardly loose. I could tell we needed to get that tooth out and she was a trooper and let me wiggle her tooth all day. I had to bribe her with a new toy but we finally got it out and it had such a long root on it still. If we hadn't of forced it to come out, it wouldn't have done so on it's own anytime soon.

We went to the store to pick out a toy and a lot of the things she wanted weren't in stock. I ended up ordering her two Monster High barbie dolls online. She's so silly and sassy and asked me to take a picture of her posing. I told her to smile but apparently, it's cooler not too. I love this girl!
