St. George and Memorial Day Weekend

I am really the worst about taking pictures when we visit family but I do have a couple pictures from when we went to St. George to see my Grandpa Griffin. We were able to go down with Angela and Eli and spend a few days with Grandpa. I guess the cancer is spreading and it's getting harder for him to do things. I was really grateful that we could be down there and help him and Meize for a few days. It was so nice to be able to visit them and I feel so blessed to have such wonderful Grandparents. We got Grandpa a cake and sang "Happy Birthday" to him and I think he loved it.

When we got home, we had Josh, Kim, Annie, Cody, Gage, Cody's sister and her kids, and Angela and Eli and their kids come over and we had fun playing games and being with each other. It was a very full house but it was worth it to have everyone together. Gage and Atreyu had fun playing with each other. I gave them a bowl of Lucky Charms and of course hardly any stayed in the bowl but they had a good time.

Angela and Eli left on Sunday but before they did, I got a really cute picture of Wyatt snuggling with sweet little Jonah. It was so cute.

It was so great to be able to spend time with family and friends and just enjoy each other's company. I do get a bit stressed when my house is messy but it honestly was worth it to have everyone together.

Stay-At-Home Fun

I have the wonderful privilege of being able to stay at home with Atreyu every single day and I get to watch him grow up day by day. I love having that opportunity and I am very grateful for it. Sometimes I just get the urge to take some pictures of the two of us and here are a few of them.
Atreyu loves to play under the table now and he sometimes uses the bar stools as walkers. He is such a blessing to me and Jesse and I don't know what we would do without him.

Happy Mother's Day!

I had the opportunity today to speak in our Sunday school program about my experiences as a new mother. I spoke of when Atreyu was born and I cried during almost the entire talk. We had grilled chicken with Eddie and Bernie and it has just been a nice, relaxing day.
Below are a few of the pictures we had taken over Easter weekend. We still have at least one more coming but I thought I would share these.
Also, the doula I had when I had Atreyu finally got me some of the pictures she had taken when Atreyu was first born so I thought I would share some of those as well.
