Conference Weekend

Jesse had to work night shifts all conference weekend so I decided to visit the Brower's that weekend in the hopes that the kids would distract each other enough that we could possibly watch more conference than we would otherwise be able to do.  Unfortunately, it didn't turn out that way and we were only able to listen to bits here and there.  Cambria got sick again and snuggled a lot of the weekend.  That was nice but I hate seeing her feel so yucky.  She still had fun playing with the kids in the moments that she felt a little better.
Atreyu and Gage always play well with each other right at first and then have some issues.  They did pretty well, though, and they both enjoyed spending time with each other.  Cambria and Asher seem to play more with each other every time we get together and they really are the cutest little couple.

Animals

Right now at our library there is an animal exhibit.  The kids are allowed to touch all the animals if they want. We walked in the door and the first animal we saw was this huge grizzly bear.  Atreyu thought is was so cool and seeing it made him even more excited for the rest of the animals.
These are just a few of the animals there.  There were different antelope, a little crocodile, a warthog and many others.  Our library does so many great things for the community.  We go to story hour almost every week and the kids are always given a book and right now they have this program going on called "1000 Books Before Kindergarten".  You just keep track of all the books you read your children and after every 100 books they are given a prize.  My kids are almost up to 600 each.  They both love books.

Birthday Masks

Atreyu's birthday this year is on Easter and since his cousins will be here we are going to have a birthday party with them.  Atreyu loves super heroes so, obviously, that is the theme for his party.  I decided to make masks for all the cousins and found some good ideas on Pinterest.  These are all the masks I made.  I think they turned out pretty good and I hope they fit alright.
Cambria had to model one for me.  She's so cute!
My sister-on-law Janell is going to make some villain masks for the daddies to wear and then the kids get to attack them with silly string.  I think it's going to be a lot of fun!

Friends and Playsets and Thrift Stores, Oh My!

A few weeks ago our family went up to Pocatello and Blackfoot to spend time with Josh & Kim and Annie & Cody.  Kim, Annie and I took the kids to the new Carl's Jr on opening day.  It was really busy but the kids had so much fun playing.  They have a great play area and I was tempted to climb up with Atreyu.  I love that they had a space specifically for toddlers so they wouldn't get trampled.  Cambria loved it and I think Asher would have liked it a lot more if he hadn't been teething at the time.
We then took the kids back to Kim's for naptime with the daddies while us girls did some more thrift shopping.  It was so fun to go out with the girls and be able to take our time at the stores with no kids.  We had fun and made some good finds.  After we were done shopping we picked up the kids and daddies and got some ice cream.  Our big boys were very good at sharing.

We all went up to Blackfoot to stay at the Brower's later that day.  The next day Annie and I took the kids to the park.  The wind was blowing and it was a bit nippy but the kids didn't seem to mind.
I love that we have such good friends so close.  We all enjoy getting together.

All Ready For Church

Last summer when I was up visiting my mom I was able to pick up a couple super cute dresses on clearance for Cambria.  They're not fancy but they work great as Easter dresses.  Every time I go to Costco, however, I am super tempted to get one of their beautiful fancy dresses for her but I have controlled myself since these two dresses are so adorable.  I picked up a nice suit for Atreyu last month because I think he should get something new for Easter time as well.  My kids are so beautiful!
I love that Cambria gives such great smiles.  I am one lucky mommy!

Dates With My Babies

Over the past few weeks the kids and I have gone on a few "dates".  We went to Subway one day and then went to Arctic Circle for ice cream.  Both these kids love playing on the playset there and would stay for hours if I let them.  We also went to Subway a different day as well.  The kids share my sandwich and we always have to get Cheetos.  I'm so lucky to be at stay-at-home mom.  I wouldn't get all these great opportunities otherwise.
