Time in the RV Park

The kids and I spend a lot of time at the RV park since we only have one vehicle. We like to go on walks, ride scooters and bikes, play at the park, and go swimming. Even though we're in California, we still have pretty typical spring weather. Some days it's really warm and other days it's cool and rainy.
We are enjoying it here. Sometimes I wish it was a little closer to stores so we could walk there but it's also nice to not be right in the city.

Cambria also likes to paint her nails in her free time. She was so focused.

Chinatown

We spent a day in Chinatown in San Francisco and it was like we had stepped into another country. We hardly heard any English spoken and most of the store owners only spoke some broken English. It was so neat to see such a different culture right here in the United States.
The Dragon Gate was pretty cool. The kids loved the Foo Dogs.
We also got some delicious treats from the Golden Gate Bakery after waiting in line for at least 20-30 minutes. They were pretty tasty especially the egg tarts.

Monterey Bay

In March we were able to spend a couple days in Monterey. We went to the amazing aquarium which is located right on the ocean. It was pretty incredible.
Outside the aquarium was this little stone bench with a lower seat for kids. Both the kiddos insisted that they have a picture in the little seat.
We stopped by a local surf shop to look around and Cambria found this picture on one of the walls. She was pretending that she was swimming in it.
We spent the next day at the beach. We had fun exploring the tide pools (especially Jesse and Atreyu) and then climbed the rocks at Lovers Point.
We enjoyed walking around Lovers Point and Jesse was excited to see there was a "Borg's Motel".
It was a beautiful, spring day. I never took off my hoodie but the kids had a blast playing in the water. We had to force them to come out when Cambria's lips had turned blue.
It was such a nice weekend. I'm thankful that we have this opportunity to travel and see new places. It's difficult being away from home at times but we really feel blessed to have this experience.

Dr. Cambria

Cambria has this little Doc McStuffins doctor kit and she decided to play vet with Diesel. He wasn't too amused but he was such a good sport and Cambria had a blast honing he doctor skills. Such a sweet dog.
