We arrived in Bern a few days before Jesse's sisters and their families so we were able to spend some one-on-one time with Grandma and Grandpa. The kids and I went with Grandma on a long walk to see the cows. We were even able to pet sweet Clover. Cosette thought that was so fun! Grandma and Grandpa also joined us in Pocatello to have dinner with some of our friends.
Once all the cousins arrived, our family, the Christiansens, and the Taylor kids all stayed at the AirBnB down the road. It is so helpful to have the extra space and it makes me even more anxious to move back to Bern. A lot of the time was spent playing games, preparing food, eating food, playing with cousins, and helping clean up the Meadowlark property. The kids helped make a huge burn pile. Eddie had already burned a couple buildings on the property and thought he still had permission to burn the pile, which he did, but he was supposed to call in and let dispatch know he was burning again, which he didn't. The fire trucks showed up at the property and put out as much of the fire as they could and the police showed up at Eddie and Bernie's. Thank goodness he didn't get in too much trouble but we now refer to him as "Arson Eddie".
