Tooth Extraction

Atreyu had six baby teeth with long roots that were causing the adult teeth to come in at an angle. He had all six pulled earlier today. He was so nervous about it but once they finally convinced him to put the nitrous mask on he did great! He remembers everything and he was so calm and he did awesome!

He said a few things that I found funny. They told him to imagine he was going to space and that's why he had to wear the mask. They told him to let them know if he felt dizzy because some kids start to feel "carsick." He told them he did get carsick, but that he didn't get boatsick. He then said, "I don't know if I get spaceship sick." Here's a few more funnies.

"I feel solid. As solid as titanium."
"I have to use super strength to move my lip."
"It feels like I'm in hyper sleep."

I'm thankful he was able to get these teeth out and I hope that the adult teeth can now come in the way they are supposed to.

Christmas 2019

I get the kids pajamas for Christmas every year and this year I was able to find them matching ones! They were so cute. I got them at the Pajama Outlet in Logan, UT while we were there in June. Cambria has grown so much this year that hers didn't fit as well as we would've liked but she at least wore them for that night and the morning.

Santa brought Cosette this cute car which she's been having fun with. He brought Cambria the LOL Glamper and Atreyu got bionicles. They had a fun Christmas morning with pigs in a blanket and monkey bread.

With the Chistmas money from Grandpa and Grandma, Atreyu got four Nerf laser guns and Jesse and I bought four more. We had the missionaries over for Christmas dinner and all these boys, Cambria, and the neighbor boys battled for a couple hours. It was fun having the missionaries over for food, games, and fun.

I'm so thankful that every year there a special time set aside where we are able to remember our Savior. I am so thankful for His birth, His life, His teachings, His atonement, His death, and His resurrection. I find His love for each of us incredible. I want to better pattern my life after His. I want to show love to all I meet and to be a good example of service to those around me. I want my kids to be able to learn of the love of Jesus Christ through me and I want them to be able to be that example to those they meet. I know that my Redeemer lives!

Bionicles

Atreyu asked me to build bionicles with him. I have never built a bionicle without instructions but after at least an hour I ended up with this. I'm strangely proud of how it turned out and it made me so happy that Atreyu said it was awesome and that he would definitely play with it. Thanks my sweet boy.

Christmastime Fun

I always love getting my kids new church outfits for Christmas and Easter. Cambria tried a few different dresses but this one fit best which was great since it was my favorite. 

Cosette found Cambria's Christmas hair bow and and she kept trying to put it on her head. We attached it to the very little hair she has and she loved it! She would reach up to make sure it was still there but she wouldn't take it out. I can't wait until she has more hair!

I planned a girl's Christmas gift exchange party and it was so much fun. I was so glad so many of the girls were able to make it. Cambria begged to join us so I gave in and let her. She thought it was weird, however, that we spent so much time just talking. We had lots of yummy treats and wonderful company.

Cosette loved the Christmas tree and she was constantly over there trying to pull the lights off. She also had fun playing in boxes, running away as I was trying to get her dressed, and helping me bake. I'm so thankful I get to be the mama to all these sweet babies.

Advancement to Bear

Atreyu completed everything he needed to in the Wolf rank of scouts to move up to Bear. They had their last scouting activity where he ranked up and they had a pinewood derby. He didn't win be he had a lot of fun. I think he's going to miss scouts but he's looking forward to the church's new youth program.

This is his Minecraft car. He had a little wooden "Steve" glued on top but it broke off.

Christmas Break

The Christmas break started today so the kids and I went to the library to pick out some books and then we played at the park next door to the library. Cambria was nervous to climb to the very top and she was so proud when she actually did it. Atreyu is like a monkey. He climbed over and under all over that thing. We're looking forward to having some time off of school.

Christmas Concert

Atreyu decided to join the choir at school and they put on a Christmas concert. They sang a bunch of different Christmas songs and there was a little Grinch skit during it. Atreyu did great! I'm so glad that he enjoys singing. He always sings out and I love watching and listening to him.

Santa and Guinea Pigs

The kids were able to see Santa at Bass Pro Shops. Cambria asked for an LOL Glamper and a guinea pig and Atreyu asked for bionicles and a hairless guinea pig. They have both been wanting guinea pigs for a few months so with their Christmas money from Grandma and Grandpa we got them Kaytee and Smores. Once Atreyu saw how sweet Kaytee was he no longer wanted a hairless guinea pig. The kids enjoyed them for a few days but once they realized how much work they were and how often they had to play with them they decided it was best if we took them back. We got a full refund on them and now the kids will think long and hard the next time they think they want a pet.

The kids also got to see Santa at our ward Christmas Luau that was combined with the Lathrop ward. We enjoyed delicious Hawaiian food and dancing.

Mr. and Mrs. Yannotti

My sweet mama got married on December 7th in Montana. I wanted to be there but we had just barely gone to Provo and the kids had school. She sent me a picture and she looked so beautiful and so happy. I'm thankful that she and Luigi found each other. They are planning to get sealed in the Rome temple in April.

Happy First Birthday Cosette!

Our baby girl turned one while we were in Provo. I made her a giant cupcake cake with cute rosette flowers. The cake turned out so cute and it was so simple to make. I was expecting Cosette to get super messy while eating her cake but she was the cleanest baby ever. This was the messiest she got. I'm so thankful for this precious blessing in our lives.

Once we got home Cosette opened up her gifts from us which she has since been enjoying.
