My Sweet and Silly Cosette

I'm so thankful this little girl came to our family. Cosette is so sweet! She is the type of baby that makes you want another baby because she is so happy and easy-going most of the time. Here are some morning pictures with her.

Pool Fun

Atreyu and Cambria love swimming so this summer has been difficult with all the pools being closed. I'm thankful that I decided to get this pool while I was at Costco before school was even out. I've had a couple friends tell me that after they saw ours they wanted to get one as well but they were all sold out. The kids have loved having something to swim and cool off in. Cosette is afraid of the deep water so I figured she needed her own little pool which she has had a blast in. Cambria, Mai, and Mai's cousin, Sherry, found a different use for he canopy that goes on it.

Tea Party

I am so thankful that Cambria has a friend to play with right across the street. Because of Covid, the kids haven't been able to see many of their other friends which makes me even more grateful to have the Huynh family so close.

Cambria and Mai decided to have a tea party and got all dressed up for the occasion. These two girls love each other and spend almost everyday together.

Cinnamon and Twix

After doing some searching, I was able to find these kitties for the kids. They are brothers and Cambria is in heaven...well, almost in heaven. It would help if she didn't have allergies. Cambria named hers Cinnamon and Atreyu named his Twix. The kids are both glad to have cats again. It's funny to me that we got our own cats when there are so many strays that hang around our yard already. Those ones aren't good enough, however, because we can't even get close to them before they run off.

Kitties

Cambria came home with this sweet, little kitten that she was already in love with. She found it under a car that was parked down the street. I told her she could keep it overnight and we'd see if it was still there in the morning. Sure enough, it still was. Later that day, Cambria and Atreyu found what appeared to be it's sibling. They were so excited to have cats again! We decided that they could keep them. Cambria named hers Keets and Atreyu named his Kit Kat.

Sadly, a few days later, some people came around looking for their lost kittens. Cambria was broken-hearted. Jesse felt so bad for her that he said we could get some more. We are currently on the hunt for some new kitties.

Creative Cambria

Cambria was playing with Play-Doh and she showed me these cute little creations that she came up. It's Princess Aurora and Snow White. I never would have come up with that. I love her creativity.

4th of July 2020

Because of Covid, we didn't have any major 4th of July celebrations to attend, but we had fun celebrating with the Huynhs. Sam made some hotdogs wrapped in hamburger and bacon and they were awesome! Jesse had to work during the day but the kids were all very excited when he got home as he was the one in charge of fireworks.
This whole Covid pandemic has been difficult but I'm so grateful for good friends who live right across the street that we have been able to spend time with. I am also thankful for our great nation. I hate seeing the division and chaos in the country that we are currently experiencing but I pray for people's hearts to be softened and I'm trying to be a good example to those around me. God bless the USA.

Sillies

Atreyu is always coming up with ideas to dress up and be silly. This was his choice the other day. Pretty sure he wasn't able to see a thing but I love his imagination.
Cambria and I had some silly time together. I got to say that she looks way cuter than I do.
We were folding laundry and Cambria thought it would be fun to put Daddy's shorts on her head. I have a house full of sillies.
Cambria has been telling me for a couple months that she wanted to cut her hair. Our friend, Lauren, cut it for her and I think she looks darling and I'm glad that she loves it.
Cosette loves her big sis as well as cheesing it up for the camera.
I'm so thankful to be the mama of these babies. I can't believe how quickly they are growing and even though I need my mommy breaks at times, I am so thankful that I am able to be home with them. I'm excited to have another baby join our family.
