Fizzing Car Wash

I saw this idea on Pinterest to have a toy car wash.  The kids and I went outside and they got to wash their toy cars with colored shaving cream.  We then added baking soda and vinegar and the kids thought all the bubbling was awesome!  They took their time washing their cars and when they were "clean" the kids rinsed them in the sprinkler and set them out to dry.
Naturally, our outside play day wouldn't be complete without mauling Diesel.  He's such a good dog and so tolerant of the kids.  I think he loves any attention he can get.

So Happy Together

I love that in this day and age we are able to snap pictures (and a lot of them) whenever we want.  There are times when I forget to bring my phone with me but as long as I have it, I am able to take a ton of pictures. Sometimes I like to take pictures of my kids because they just look so cute; other times they want me to take pictures of them; and sometimes they are just doing something that I don't want to forget.
Atreyu usually won't let me help him ride his bike because he says it's "daddy's work".  He finally let me help him and he did awesome!  He rode all by himself and was so proud.
My little beauty queen!  She arranged the pillows all on her own and then posed for me.

Selfies

I don't have many pictures of me and the kids so occasionally we will take some selfies.  They usually don't turn out that great but it's always fun anyway!

Playground Play Time

A couple weeks ago we were invited to go play at the playground in Paris with a bunch of other moms and kids.  It was fun to get out of the house as it was the first non-rainy day we had had in a while.  Atreyu thought it was pretty cool that we were playing on the playground at the same place he goes to preschool.  It was a nice little getaway and we all enjoyed ourselves.

Thanksgiving Point

Our last day in Utah we went to Thanksgiving Point.  Our first stop there was at the gardens.  It is such a huge area and so beautifully landscaped.  Atreyu wanted to play superheroes so Jesse played with all the kids.  They ran all around chasing each other and having a blast!
After the gardens we ate a nice picnic lunch and then went to the Dinosaur museum.  I didn't get many pictures but Atreyu and Cambria both loved it!

Church in Provo

On Father's Day we went to Seth and Jenny's ward to hear Abigael speak in sacrament meeting.  She did a wonderful job.  I can't believe that she is so grown up already!  We sent Cambria to nursery with Archer and went to Sunday School.  I rarely ever get to Sunday School or Relief Society so it was a nice change.  While we were in Sunday School I heard a little voice out in the hall saying, "Mommy, are you?"  Apparently Cambria was not happy in nursery so they took her out.  She spent the rest of church with us.  She was tired and so was Grandpa.

This is the Place

Our next day in Utah was spent at This is the Place monument.  I had no idea that such a place existed but it was really cool.  It was like a whole little pioneer town with so much to see.  There were old houses and different crafts that the kids could do.  They made rag dolls and Indian necklaces.  They got to ride on a little train as well as some horses.
There was a little area where the kids were able to pet and feed some goats.  Cambria was really excited about the baby goat.
We were able to see a "Mountain Man" make lead bullets and a "Blacksmith" do some work as well.  I loved that we all had fun and that we were able to learn something as well.  It really made me grateful for my home with more than one room and our indoor plumbing and electricity.  We are so blessed in this day and age and I don't always realize it.  It's nice to get an eye-opener every once in a while.

After we finished at This is the Place, we went to the Leonardo museum.  It was a fun place where the kids could build, color and create.  I loved watching them all use their imaginations and discover new things.
