Happy 2nd Birthday Magnus

My last baby just turned two and is technically not a baby anymore. Time really does fly by, and I don't think I always appreciate it. Magnus is such a fun, little guy. He loves to randomly give hugs and snuggles. He doesn't get into stuff as much as he used to, thank goodness. He LOVES the movie, Cars! He got a bunch of Cars stuff for Christmas and a few more for his birthday. He is starting to talk a little more but still doesn't say much. He loves to give everyone hugs and kisses before his naps and bedtime. I sure love this little guy. Happy Birthday, buddy.

Cosette also like his gifts.

Gynmastics Fun

Cambria and her friends Izzy and Mai had fun looking up different poses and then trying them out together. I would have to hurry and take the picture before the lost balance or strength. They all sure have a fun time together!

A New Adventure

For the past few months, I've been thinking about possibly going back to work. I've just felt that I need to have something I can do to make money especially when we move back to Idaho. I'm interested in eyelash extensions, facials, and waxing so I decided to look into what schooling options are available near us. I found the Inspire Academy of Barbering and Cosmetology which offers an esthetics course Mondays through Wednesdays that works perfectly with Jesse's schedule.
I recently enrolled and my classes start February 6. I am excited, nervous, scared, basically all the normal feelings taking a big step like this entails. I have been a stay-at-home mom for almost 13 years so it's a strange feeling that I am going to be leaving my babies for three days a week. I think it will be good for all of us and I'm hoping my time away from them makes me better appreciate the time I have with them. I'll leave late enough that I'll be able to see them in the morning and I'll get home not too long after the big kids get home from school.
I've enjoyed the snuggles and time with my babies recently.
I had fun with Cosette when she was playing a game where she pretended she was sleeping. She thought it was hilarious!
She thinks that putting a bunch of bananas on her head is also funny.
Anytime I bake anything I always have at least one helper. A lot of times I have two.
As I'm typing this, I realize I don't have any pictures of Atreyu to add. I love my time with him also, but he spends a lot of time with Jesse playing games and building Warhammer models. Maybe I need to take some pictures of them doing that.

Young Women's Activity

I just had the young women come over to my house for an activity where we got to go on a virtual tour of the Laie, Hawaii temple grounds and visitor's center. The girls all really enjoyed it, and it definitely made me want to go back to Hawaii. Afterward the girls got to decorate temple and heart shaped sugar cookies. I was happy and surprised with the amazing turnout. It was a great activity.
Cambria did a great job on her cookies.
Even Magnus had a good time.

Talented Cambria

Ever since Jessica taught us how to make bows, Cambria has enjoyed doing so. She's even sold some to a friend along with these adorable clay animals she makes. Cambria truly has an artistic talent and I so enjoy watching it grow and seeing what new things she comes up with. These are a few bows that we made together and a couple of her cute, little animals.

Twinning

I got this dress for Jesse's work party and I decided to wear it to church the next day. I show up and I am informed that Sister Nicole Mosher is wearing the same dress. It was fun twinning with her for the day.

Jesse's Work Party

I was able to go with Jesse to his work party this past weekend. I met a lot of people, most of whose names I can't remember. I feel that Jesse works with a lot of good people who like and respect him. They all seemed happy to see him and they made me feel welcome. Even though his job can be tough, I'm glad he has such wonderful people to get through the days with. I'm so thankful for Jesse and I know that he tries to be a good example to his co-workers.
