Rock Painting

Krystle invited a bunch of us over for the kids to do some rock painting. We were not on top pf taking pictures, but we at least got one of them all together.

A Minecraft Movie

We took the kids to see the Minecraft Movie. It was so funny! I know very little about Minecraft, but the movie was so well done and we all loved it! Honestly, the best part is to just be together as a family.

The littles had to take a picture with the Elio sign which comes out in a couple of months.

Easter and Atreyu's 15th Birthday

On Easter morning, we were able to attend a beautiful Sacrament meeting that focused on our Savior. The messages and music touched my heart, and I was able to feel the love my Savior has for me. That afternoon, we had a bunch of friends come over to celebrate Atreyu's birthday and for an egg hunt. I love to see all these kids together. It makes me heart so happy and full that we have so many people in our lives who we are blessed to love and be loved by.

I am so grateful I have the privilege of being Atreyu's mom. He is such a good son! Even though he just turned 15, he has no problem giving his mom hugs and saying I love you. He is such a good student and works hard in all his classes. All of his teachers love him. He takes time to play with his siblings as well as any other kids that come over. He has such a big heart and I'm excited to see where his life goes.

Nicole's Birthday

I was able to go out with my girlfriends to celebrate Nicole's birthday. I always enjoy getting together with these ladies. We have such a blast and it's just so easy. I am so thankful to have these friendships.

 

Tie Dye, Music, and Bikes

All the kindergarten classes were able to tie dye t-shirts one day and then they all wore them to do a little performance of the songs they had been working on. It was so cute! Cosette knew all the songs so well and did such a great job with all the actions. 

This same day, Cosette decided she was big enough to learn how to ride a two-wheel bike. It took a few minutes, but she figured it out pretty quicky. Now she cruises around the block.

Magnus can ride his bike with training wheels, but he sometimes likes to go on walks with Lexi.

Kintsugi

I was able to go to a Relief Society activity with Krystle. They asked each of us to bring some type of dish that we could break, glue back together, and then go over the crack with some gold paint like the Japanese art form, Kintsugi. The lesson was that even though things may happen in our lives that make us feel broken, God can take those breaks and cracks and make them beautiful again. I love any moment I get to spend with Krystle, and we had a great time!

Bonus Kid

Cambria's friend, Izzy, spends so much time with us that she is basically our kid, so she has been dubbed "Bonus Kid". She treats all the kids like her siblings. She and Cosette were snuggling and playing a game together.

Cheer Comp

Melina had a cheer competition in Lake Tahoe this past weekend. Raquel brought Cambria and Izzy with them and all those girls had a blast! They ate delicious food, went shopping, cheered Melina on, went swimming, and played in the snow. I'm thankful I have friends who love my kids like their own.
