The Last Day of School...Finally

We finally made it to the last day of school. I really enjoyed letting the kids go to public school. It gave me time to get things done at home but, even better, I feel that the kids were getting a better education and they learned so much. It's been difficult having school at home again and I hope that this doesn't last forever. Cambria rarely lets me fix her hair but I talked her into it for the last day of school.

Cosette was all ready for a nap today with her blankie, which she loves.

I honestly don't know who's more excited and relieved that school is doing for the year, me or the kids.

Silly Little Cosette

Cosette is such a fun, little girl. She sees the kids doing schoolwork everyday and thinks that she better be doing something too. I gave her a piece of paper to color on, and she pulled up her "chair" and got to work.

I got done changing Cosette's diaper the other day and she decided to run out the door, hoping to follow the kids, before her new diaper was put on. Good thing she didn't get too far and I was able to stop her from going out the gate.

My Babies

All my life all I ever wanted was to be a wife and a mother. It was difficult for me to wait the five years after Jesse and I were married to finally have our first baby. Now, 10 years later, I feel like I have always been a mom. I was so thankful when each of our babies came to our family. They all drive me crazy at times but I wouldn't trade them or the life I have for anything. 

I love that even though Atreyu is 10, he still likes to snuggle with me. He carries his "Momot" around with him everywhere, enjoys playing board games and building Legos and Bionicles, and loves doing pretty much anything with his dad.

I feel that Cambria sometimes has too much energy for me. She's always busy doing something. She loves swimming in the pool, playing with friends, and dancing. She also likes snuggles with me and I love it when out of the blue she tells me she loves me.

Cosette is such a sweet girl. She's so easy going and loves to do whatever her brother and sister are doing. She's great at taking naps, she loves Bubble Guppies, and she's learning everyday.

Visiting Diesel

We have not been very good to visit our sweet Diesel dog. The whole quarantine has stopped us from doing normal things and I also don't want to constantly bother the kind family that took him in. We did make a visit to him the other day and it was so nice to just take him out for a walk with the kids and spend some time with our good friend. 

Diesel has been such a good dog and it's hard to see him getting old. He's basically deaf, he has a hard time holding his bladder, and he kind of limps along but his eyesight seems to be great still. As much as he used to sometimes drive me crazy, I am so thankful we were blessed to have this sweet dog in our lives.

Time Out

For time outs, we make our kids stand with their noses on the wall. Apparently Cosette thinks this is a fun game and she likes to join them whenever they are sent to time out. It helps put everyone in a better mood. It's so fun having a "little" in the house again.

Sibling Fun

My kids are like any siblings; they are either the best of friends or the worst of enemies. It makes my heart so happy when they play and have fun together. Even though Cosette is little, Cambria still likes to tease her a bit. However, she and Atreyu are usually really great with Cosette. They let her tag along and play with them. I'm so grateful for each of these sweet kids. I feel so blessed that Heavenly Father sent these spirits to our home.
