Christmas 2018

I felt very blessed that we were able to go back home for Christmas this year. It's my favorite holiday and it seems right that we got to spend it in my favorite place. I never realized how much I loved Bern until I've spent so much time away from it. I'm enjoying California and our friends here but I'm looking forward to the time when we can move back home.

I told Jesse that I didn't want to attempt a 13 hour car drive with a newborn so we flew home this time. Cosette did great on the flight and only fussed a little on the drive from Salt Lake to Bern. We all loved spending time with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. My mom even came down and spent Christmas with us. Cosette was held basically the entire time and she loved it.
When we were there in October Jesse got his grandma's cream puff recipe and he and Eddie wanted them so badly, that they went to the store to get all the ingredients and they made them. It took a few tries to get it right but once they did, the cream puffs were delicious. We told them that it should be tradition that the two of them make them every year.
Since we were going to be home with our family we decided to have Cosette's blessing in Bern. It was so special for me to listen as Jesse blessed our little girl. I'm so thankful for the priesthood he holds. I'm thankful that we get to raise our children together and teach them the gospel. I feel truly blessed to have the gospel in my life and that we're able to share it with our children.

All our Kiddos

I love how much Atreyu and Cambria love Cosette. They want to hold her and give her hugs and kisses constantly. Grammie bought this plaid shirt for Cosette and the kids wanted to match her. Cambria already had a plaid shirt that matched but Atreyu didn't and he was very upset so I found one at a thrift store for him.
I enjoyed having my mom come visit and help with the kids. She loves any moment she can have with her grandbabies.
For a long time I really thought we were done having babies but I am so grateful that Heavenly Father has blessed our family with Cosette. I can't imagine life without her now and I wouldn't trade her for anything.

Cosette Maria Kunz

On November 30 at 7:55 AM our sweet Cosette Maria was born. She weighed in at 7lbs 1oz and she was 19.25 inches long. Everything went smoothly with her delivery and we are both doing well. She started breastfeeding like a champ. Once they brought me to my room after recovery, Jesse left to get my mom and the kids and the first hour that he was gone, Cosette was asleep but she made little baby noises and grunts the entire time. She likes the sound of her own voice. We are all so in love with this adorable little girl.
