Pictures

Jessica asked me if I would take some family photos for her. I decided that I wanted some portraits of each of my kiddos as well, so we went to a nature park in Ripon and had a little photo shoot.

Relief Society Craft and Tie Blankets

The Relief Society asked Krystle and I if we would teach another class at this year's Super Saturday. We saw a cute idea online for a craft and tried it out. I think I may add a few more buttons to mine but I really like how they turned out.

After my birthday dinner a couple of months ago, Krystle, Raquel, and I went to Joann to check out their sales as they were going out of business. We each found fabric so that we could make fleece blankets. We finally got together on Sunday and made them all. I had also gotten some fabric with Cambria, so she was able to join us.

Glasses

I took Cosette to the eye doctor to get her eyes checked and he said she has a slight astigmatism. She found her favorite pair of glasses, and I think she's going to rock them.

Camping

Cosette went camping for her first time ever with Jessica's family. I don't know what all they did, but I do know that she had a blast and she wants to go camping again.

Bye Kylee

We had to take Kylee back to the airport and say good-bye to her until next time. She and Cambria both get so teary when they have to say good-bye. I love that they have such a close bond. We had a lot of fun with Kylee the past couple of weeks.

Six Flags

I decided to take the kids to Six Flags while Kylee was here. However, since the big kids went off on their own while I took Magnus on the kid rides, I didn't get any pictures of them. Cosette wasn't with us since she went camping with Jessica's family, but the rest of us had a fun day.

Honesty's Baptism

Our friend, Honesty, was able to be baptized this past weekend. I had the opportunity to speak, and she asked Jesse to baptize her. I love watching the kids choose to be baptized and come closer to Jesus. I am also so thankful that we are able to show our love and support for the different families who we have been so blessed to build close friendships with.

On a side note, Cosette and Jonah are too much ;)

7-Eleven

On July 11th, 7-Eleven offers free slurpees all day. The older girls were able to go with the young women earlier in the day and then we took all the kids a little later. It was a great way to cool off on a hot day.

Cambria's Birthday Party

Cambria wanted to have her birthday party while Kylee was here, so we celebrated a few weeks early. She wanted a Studio Ghibli theme and with all the planning and work we both put into it, I think it turned out so darling.
Cambria is such a beautiful, sweet girl inside and out. I am so blessed to be her mom. I love her sense of style, her creativity, and the love she has for her friends and family. She is she a great student and is loved by her teachers. She brings excitement and joy with her wherever she goes.

Pool Party

The young men and women had a combined pool party at the Sills. Annie Sill sent me a picture of them all. I really love the Union Ward.

How to Train Your Dragon

Jesse and I took the kids to see the live action remake of How to Train Your Dragon. It was really well done. I remember the original movie was in the theater when Atreyu was born and we actually went to see it when he was in the NICU and I felt so guilty not being there with him even though they wouldn't even let us be there during those hours.

4th of July

We had a great time celebrating the 4th of July with friends. A returned missionary, Casey Mitchell, who used to serve here, even joined us with his family. It was all fun and games until a police officer came and put a kibosh to our illegal fireworks. I guess that was our fault.
