I think it is interesting how, even at such a young age, boys are boys and girls are girls. Before Atreyu turned one he liked trucks and tractors and knew how to make sounds for them without being shown how. Cambria already likes to dress up. I have a little scarf that she loves to put on and wear around. I showed her how to do it once and ever since then she thinks it's the greatest thing.
She also found the headband I wore when we got married and she knew that she needed to put it on her head. She's our little princess.
Cambria has recently discovered this little car and she loves playing with it. She dances when the music plays and she is just so proud of herself when she can climb up on it. She is growing so fast and learning so many things.
Cambria loves to feed herself and rarely ever lets me help her. She is her own little person and likes to be independent.
Last week I took the kids to the thrift store. I usually just let them play in the toy area while I look around. I hadn't even left them for a minute when one of the ladies that works there asked me if my little girl was okay on the stairs. Apparently, Cambria knows how to climb the stairs. She had never done it before that day but she managed to get to the very top in less than a minute. She now loves to climb Grandma and Grandpa's stairs.
Cambria seems to take her time doing new things but once she decides to do them, she is already a master. On Sunday she was climbing up on the little bench in my classroom and the other day she said, "gampa." What a funny, smart sweetheart.
