Pre-Halloween Fun

I love that Cosette is old enough to really start appreciating the holidays. I'm a sucker for any holiday and especially Halloween sp when she was with me at the grocery store and we found this Mickey Mouse sugar cookie set, I had to get it. We baked and decorated the cookies and they were a lot tastier than I thought they would be. We also made a cute skeleton craft.

I saw an adorable idea on Pinterest using the kids' foot prints. It turned out so cute!

I was able to go with the Huynhs to the school's haunted house. They did a really great job on it. Atreyu was wearing his mask and kept getting in the faces of the scarers. Halloween is his favorite holiday!

We picked out our pumpkins at Perry's Market where we were able to visit with the McKee family.

Going to the Movies

We had not been to the movie theater since before Covid. Jesse was so excited for the movie "Dune" to be released earlier but it was delayed. Jesse, Atreyu, and I went to see it the day it was released. It was so nice being in the theater again.

The girls thought that since the boys got to go to the theater, they needed to as well. I took them to see 

"The Addams Family 2". It was Cosette's first time in a theater since she was a baby.

Fun in a Box

I opened up a package and left the box on the floor and it became Cosette and Magnus' favorite toy for a few days. They had fun playing with it by themselves and with each other. 

Why get them toys when boxes are so much more fun?

Fall Break

We love going to Idaho any chance we get. The kids had their fall break last week and we headed to Bern. We were pleasantly surprised that Jenny, Alora, and Archer were there when we arrived. The kids were so excited that they got to spend the week with cousins. We also had the opportunity to go to the Pocatello, Idaho temple open house. The temple was so beautiful and I loved that the kids were able to experience the temple. We also enjoyed all the early snow.

We had such a fun time and I loved the discovery I found on my phone.

We had made plans to spend the weekend with the Browers and the Josh Kunz family who came up from Texas but Annie got Covid and we had to cancel our plans with their family. We spent the weekend with Josh and Kim's family at Lagoon and the aquarium. It had been three years since we last saw them and it was so wonderful to get together again. I am so thankful for their friendship. 

The kids loved Lagoon and Cosette did awesome with the rides.

A Little Park Time

I love walking to school with the kids and then letting Cosette play at the park. She plays on the slides and bars but lately her favorite has been the swings which Magnus also loves. I'm enjoying the cooler weather and I love that I get to put this beanie on Magnus. He's adorable!
