My Boys

I came home from running errands a couple days ago, and these sweet boys were snuggled up together on the floor. It touched my mama heart. I love it when I'm able to see my kids love each other.

Valentine's

Jesse and I went out with Kirk and Krystle the week before Valentine's Day so that was technically our celebration, but I did get him a gift and he got me a beautiful bouquet of flowers which he arranged himself. I love that he does that for me. He picks out individual arrangements that he knows I will like, and he combines them into one arrangement. I also got the kids little gifts as well.

Jesse had been meaning to go out with, Gerry, a friend from church and Valentine's morning worked out the best. I told Jesse that they had to get a picture together making a heart since they were going out on Valentine's Day. It's one of my favorite pictures.

That week when we went to ballet, there was a cute Valentine backdrop set up in the gym. The girls had to get pictures with their friends.

Cups

Cosette goes over to play at Jessica's house quite often. I love that Jessica has three little girls that Cosette is able to play with. They are such a wonderful family, and I am so thankful that they came into our lives. Jessica sent me this picture of the girls building a giant cup tower. I can't believe they got it as tall as they did.

Band Concert

Cambria has been playing the flute this year and she had her first band concert. They only did a couple short songs, but they did a great job! 

Valentine's Dates

Every year, Jesse takes the girls out for a date around Valentine's Day. While they were out on their date, I took the boys out for a date. We ate at Popeye's for lunch and then we had ice cream at Baskin Robbins. Jesse took the girls to their favorite place, the mall in Modesto. I am so thankful for this beautiful family of mine.

Valentine Crafts

We had a few ladies come over to make some Valentine's crafts. Cambria made this cute little pom-pom tree and a couple candy heart trees, and I made a table centerpiece.

Cambria saw an idea to use a sock and make a cute doggie outfit. She loved it but I'm not sure how much Lexi enjoyed it.

Youth Temple Trip

The youth went on a temple trip in Sacramento to do baptisms for the dead. It was Cambria's first time, and she had a blast! She and Atreyu took a bunch of family names that my mom had sent. I love watching my kids develop their own testimonies. 

Best Friends

I truly love the friendship that Cambria and her friend, Izzy, have with each other. They love to spend any time possible with each other and they look out for each other. For Valentine's, Izzy got them matching best friend mushroom plushies. These girls are so cute!

Ms. Farnsworth

Cambria came with me to Target and as we were about to leave, we saw her 4th grade teacher, Ms. Farnsworth. Cambria was so excited to see her! I'm grateful that my kids have had teachers who have had such a big influence on them. 

Happy 3rd Birthday, Magnus!

My last little baby is no longer a baby. Magnus turned three and he is now such a big boy! He got donut holes for breakfast and a Mickey and dinosaur balloon that went along with the Mickey dinosaur cake he wanted. He was able to do some coloring with dad and Cosette, too.

Jesse helped me decorate his cake and it turned out so cute! 

That same night he finally decided to sleep in his toddler bed in Atreyu's room. He went back to his bed in the closet one night since then, but every other night has been in the big boy bed.

Magnus and Cosette have been loving the bouncy house that the Lockwoods gave Magnus for his birthday. The garage is a great place for it.

To officially become a big boy, Magnus had his first haircut, and he looks so adorable.

Magnus is definitely a mama's boy and sometimes forces me to sit down and snuggle. He gets a kick out of teasing his siblings (and Mom and Dad). Mickey is still his friend, but he also loves dinosaurs and Transformers. He is such a sweet boy and I'm so blessed to be his mama.
