Nine Months

Cosette is such a sweet baby! She has been such a blessing to our family and we are all so thankful to have her. Before family prayers we all say what we are thankful for and Cosette is usually one of the first things said. She crawls everywhere, she pulls herself up to standing constantly, and she's about to get her fourth tooth. She doesn't always want to nap but even on the days that she doesn't she is still pretty happy.

Scout Night at Funworks

For scouts this past week, we went into Modesto to Funworks and the kids were able to play mini-golf and make their own pizzas. Cambria flew through the holes with the Doman kids without really trying but Atreyu stayed back with me and he did pretty well. I made my own chicken, bacon, ranch pizza and I was surprised how delicious it was. They had great ingredients!

Bike Ride

Recently I've been wanting to ride my bike with the kids again so we invested in a new bike trailer so Cosette could tag along with us. The kids and I had a nice ride to a park a little ways away where they were able to play lava monsters before we headed home. Cosette seemed to enjoy the bike trailer and was happy the whole way. Now we just need to fix up Jesse's bike so he can come with us.

Diesel

Since we couldn't bring Diesel with us in this rental house, our good friends Kenny and Krisly took him in for us. We've missed having him with us but I know that he is so loved with them. They've even fattened him up a bit; something that we were never able to do. We had Krisly come over for dinner while Kenny was at work and we decided to sneak Diesel over. Cosette was so fascinated with him and we all enjoyed having him with our family again.

Library and Park

We went to the Manteca library for the first time and Atreyu and Cambria loved the kid section. We probably spent close to an hour there while picking out books and afterward the kids played for a few minutes at the next door park. Atreyu had no fear climbing to the top and hanging upside down. Cambria, surprisingly, was a little more cautious. These kids are just too big!

The First Day of School

I decided earlier this summer that I was going to enroll the kids in public school this year. They are both so smart and I don't think I am doing them justice by homeschooling. I have yet to have a really good attitude about it. They have both been nervous and excited to start school but I think it will be a great opportunity for them. We found out that they will each have a kid from church in their classes with them.
Jesse gave Atreyu a blessing the night before but Cambria didn't want one. As I was tucking them into bed, Cambria was very excited and looking forward to school. Atreyu was struggling a bit worried that he wouldn't get to spend much time with his dad. We assured him they would still have time together. The morning of their first day, they both woke up happy and excited. I know this will be a good thing for them and I'm excited for them.

 After school, Jesse wanted to take them out for ice cream. We beat the rush and we were first in line.

Jumper

I was able to find a jumper like the one Atreyu and Cambria used for Cosette. She has loved it but I can tell that with how mobile she's getting, she's not going to want to be in it much longer. She actually uses it as an aid in her standing.

Happy 7th Birthday Cambria!

Our Baby Bri is now seven years old. She loves LOL's, dresses and skirts, make-up, playing with friends, and her kindle. She likes to help with Cosette and even though I sometimes get frustrated with her "help" I appreciate her love for me and Cosette. I used to say she was our sour patch kid and that has not changed. She can be the sweetest girl ever but she also can be so sour and sassy. It's fun to watch her learn and grow and become her own person. She had an LOL birthday party with a bunch of friends. Our house was total chaos but she loved it.

Eight Months

Cosette is now eight months old. She army crawls everywhere and she's trying to pull herself up on everything. She's still as sweet as ever and adored by us all.
