Avengers: Endgame

Last year we took Atreyu to see Avengers: Infinity War and he was very upset with the ending. We waited the year and we just went and saw Avengers: Endgame and Atreyu (and all of us) were much happier with that ending. It was a fun family outing and afterward we had to go play by the pond which is right outside the movie theater. They stock it with fish and there are constantly ducks swimming all around. We were lucky and saw some ducklings and they swam right over to the area we were standing at. I love being able to spend time with this sweet family of mine. 

Enjoying our Yard

I really enjoyed the RV park we lived in for the most part. Most people were very friendly and we had a nice little "yard" where we kept some flowers and bird feeders in the summer but we didn't have any privacy. We are enjoying this yard with a fence and tall trees. There's a spot right outside the back door where the kids play "restaurant" with the toy kitchen and picnic table. We sometimes eat lunch out there but mostly we like to read on the hammock which is under a pergola and is shaded with vines and leaves.

I didn't completely realize it until we moved into a house and had more space, but I was really stressed and unhappy the last few months we lived in the RV. There was constantly clutter everywhere and I wasn't able to bake very well in the tiny oven which is something I have enjoyed so much being able to do again. I never thought we would be living in California but since our Heavenly Father wants us to be here I'm glad that we are able to live in a nice area with a great ward

Happy 9th Birthday Atreyu!

In ways it seems like this boy was just born and in others it seems like he's been in my life forever. I am so grateful for the day Atreyu was born and that our Heavenly Father let us keep him here. He is such a joy in my life. He always makes sure to let me know he loves me and he still requests snuggles almost every night. 

Atreyu likes Minecraft, Legos, Bionicles, and super hereos. He doesn't play with his super heroes as much as he used to but he loves to go to the theater to see every new Marvel movie. He likes to play with Cambria (most of the time) and loves to snuggle with Cosette. His reading has improved a lot this past year and he picks up on math pretty quickly. 

One of my favorite things about Atreyu is how much he is loving to learn the gospel. He shares his testimony every fast Sunday. He's excited to be able receive the priesthood and do baptisms for the dead in a few years.

Atreyu requested a Minecraft cake this year and thanks to being in a house with a full size oven again, I was able to deliver and I love how it turned out. 

I love this boy so much and I am so very grateful that he is mine.

Easter 2019

Since the kids were able to have an Easter egg hunt with cousins when we were in Idaho, we didn't go to one down here. We went to see the Easter Bunny at Bass Pro Shops and the kids dyed some eggs. It was nice to have a relaxing holiday. My favorite part was that we were able to go to church and remember our Savior and His atonement for us. I love having the opportunity to teach our children and share my testimony with them that Jesus is our Savior and Redeemer. I am so thankful for Him and the love I feel from Him and my Heavenly Father everyday.

Picnic

The weather here in California is so beautiful in the spring. We get cool rainy days as well as days that are the perfect temperature. The kids and I had a picnic in our yard a couple days ago. I love the yard at this house. It's a good size for this area and it has so many different plants and shrubs. We enjoyed the shade from the big tree out front and had fun laughing and talking with each other. I'm so thankful for these little people.

Bern

I think our family would choose to go to Bern over anywhere in the world. It's so nice being back with family and friends. We come home every time we go to Bern. We were able to spend time with Grandpa and Grandma, Grammie, and aunts, uncles, and cousins. The kids were able to have their Easter egg hunt and spend a few days playing with their favorite people.
