Photo Shoot

A couple weeks ago Atreyu had school pictures taken.  I took Cambria to get hers done as well but she would not let go of me.  She wouldn't even let me sit her on the chair.  Needless to say, she didn't get her picture taken.  Since she was dressed up so cute I wanted to get some pictures of her so we went outside and I took a few with my phone which turned out awesome.  She kept being silly which made getting a good shot rather difficult but I think I got a few good ones.

Halloween Sugar Cookies

Since we are all fans of sugar and Halloween we decided to make Halloween sugar cookies.  Atreyu had fun frosting.  Cambria didn't frost any but that didn't stop her from having one..or four.  I had help from Atreyu and Jesse with frosting the cookies for the first half but, as always, I ended up finishing by myself but it was all worth it.  We had fun and they were delicious.  I would have a picture of Jesse but he wouldn't let me take one.

Frightmares 2014

At the beginning of October we went down to Utah with Angela and Eli, Cody and Annie, and Josh and Kim and their families.  On Friday evening we went to a corn maze but with no map we wandered around for a bit and then found our way back to the entrance to see if we could find a map. By that point all the kids were done with the maze and only wanted to play on (and in) the corn pyramid.  They were able to jump off the pyramid onto these big foam rolls and they all had a blast!

We stayed at a hotel in Layton that night and Jesse and I took the kids swimming with Josh, Kim, and Sophie.  Our kids love the water but we really need to get them in swimming lessons.  The next day we all headed to Lagoon and I had so much fun!  I didn't realize there were so many rides for little ones.  It was a beautiful day and the lines weren't too long.  We had such a great time and it made me excited to go again next year.
