Manteca Chargers

Cambria and Atreyu decided earlier this summer that they wanted to do cheerleading and football. They have been practicing and they just had their first games, which they won. Our Saturdays for the next couple months are filled up with football. I'm thankful that they have chosen sports that I enjoy.

Just Growing

Our little Magnus is growing up so fast. He started crawling a few weeks ago and now he's starting to sit on his own. He just has to keep up with all these big kids. He has his first two teeth and he's enjoying baby food. He's such a happy, wiggly baby.

Fun in Nursery

Cosette is really enjoying nursery. I feel bad that because of Covid, she gets such a limited amount of time to spend in nursery. This Sunday, Sister McCabe and Sister Cayode had all the girls hold onto this rope and they walked all around the church. Cosette loved being the leader.

First Day of School 2021

These kids started public school again this week. They have to wear masks on school grounds but other than that it's basically like school was before Covid. I'm grateful they are going back to public school. There were some things I enjoyed with homeschooling but it was also very stressful especially with two littles. Atreyu says he would rather homeschool but they were both excited for their new adventure. We dropped the kids off and then Jesse and I played at the park with Cosette and Magnus. Magnus wasn't quite sure what he thought of the swings.

Happy 9th Birthday Cambria!

We celebrated this girl's birthday with the Huynhs. Cambria loves fun! She's always dancing, singing, playing with friends, basically anything that could be considered "fun". She's a good helper with Magnus and she is Cosette's best friend. We ate breakfast at the Velvet Grill in Modesto and had burgers for dinner.

She asked for this cake that looks like the frosted animal crackers. It turned out so cute but after I baked the cakes, one of them came into close contact with on onion, unbeknownst to myself, so occasionally a bite would be a bit oniony flavored.
