Four Months Old

Magnus is now four months old. He can roll from his back to his tummy but not the other way. He loves bouncing and playing in his jumper and since he was always so difficult at night, I decided to just have him sleep with me in the bed and he does great! He loves to snuggle up next to me all night long and, I'm actually surprised to say, I love it, too.

Last Day of School

I really wasn't wanting to homeschool this past year but I figured a program specifically designed for homeschool would be better than the public schools trying to homeschool. Whether that was true or not, I feel like the kids got a pretty good education this year and I am excited for them to go back to public school in the fall. Neither of them really want to go since public school days are so much longer, but I need them to go for my own peace and sanity. Plus, they both like to socialize and I really think they'll enjoy themselves. But for now, we are glad that today is the last day of school and we are looking forward to the summer.

We planned a last day of school party with our neighbors. We went to a splash pad in Ripon, got Frolo, had pizza, and watched the new Cruella and the kids had a sleepover. I only took one picture but it was a fun celebration!

Lathrop Splash Pad

I'd heard about the splash pad in Lathrop, which is about 15 minutes away from our house, but I'd never taken the kids there. The other day I decided I was wanting to get out of the house so we headed to Lathrop and had a good time playing in the water and on the playground. Cosette was nervous about the water at first, but after Atreyu held her hand and took her around, she started to love it!

Whenever Jesse grills burgers he has Atreyu come out and help him. Atreyu has learned so well that he is now able to grill them on his own and they are so tasty! This boy is growing up WAY too fast!

 

Birthday in Monterey

Because of Covid, we haven't gone many places in the last year. Jesse spoiled me and took us all to Monterey for my birthday for a couple days. We made our traditional stop at Phil's Fish Market on the way.

We got donuts from Red's Donuts the next morning and spent the day at the beach. The water is always too cold for me, but Jesse, Atreyu, and Cambria all enjoyed their time in the water. The kids even explored some tide pools and gathered a bunch of hermit crabs. Cosette and I played with sand toys and we all were entertained by the seagulls and ground squirrel that came over for some snacks.

The next day we went over to Fisherman's Wharf. It was a fun place with lots of shops and overpriced restaurants.

We finished the trip eating lunch by the ocean. As much as I always want to go back to Idaho, I will miss having the ocean just a couple hours away.

The day after we got home, my friend, Ashley, brought me this amazing peanut butter cake. I had a great birthday!

Just Some Randomness

I enjoy spending time with all my babies. Atreyu loves to hang out with his dad so I get a lot of time with the other three. We went to Denny's (one of Cambria's favorite restaurants), painted toenails, and I even let Magnus take his first bath with Cosette. 

Saying Good Bye to Friends

We made some friends in the RV park who are moving to Italy for a couple years. We haven't seem them much recently but Atreyu and Cambria wanted to visit them before they left on their new adventure. We were able to spend a few hours with them playing in a pool and visiting. They said they are planning to get a large rental house while they're there so their friends can come to visit. I talked with Jesse and we might plan a trip over there. I'm so thankful that we've been able to meet such wonderful people since we started traveling. Bye Cerulli Family!

Mother's Day 2021

Jesse had to work on Mother's Day again this year so I got to spend the day with my kiddos. The kids brought me breakfast in bed. Atreyu made me egg in a hole. It was so delicious! We have also started going back to in-person church and afterward we spent so time at the park. It was a nice day and my family spoiled me.
