My Babies

I love my babies!  They drive me crazy and make me want to pull my hair out but I love them with every fiber of my being and I would do anything for them.  Cambria loves bath time and I just had to get some bootie shots of her as she stood out of the tub watching Atreyu.  I love all her rolls!

Atreyu and Cambria generally play really well together but, like any siblings, they have their moments and fight over toys or Mom's lap or Grandpa.  I took this picture this morning before we had breakfast.  I think it's cute how Cambria has her bottle and Atreyu his thumb.
Atreyu always makes a mess whenever he eats chocolate and for some reason I always have to take a picture of him.
Cambria is a very friendly baby but has become a little more reserved lately.  We were able to visit with Jesse's great uncle John last week and Cambria warmed right up to him and even gave him snuggles (which I rarely get).  It was very sweet and John loved it.

Girly Hair

I decided that since Cambria's hair is starting to get in her eyes I would try something new with it.  I had to sit her in the high chair and bribe her with chocolate chips (at 7:45 in the morning) to get her to hold still long enough but I'm pretty proud of myself.  It turned out darn cute.

She is also 49 weeks old so I had to get her weekly picture which proved very difficult to do.  Now that she is crawling, she is all over the place.

Car Show or Playing at the Park

On Saturday we went to the annual car show in Montpelier.  There were some pretty nice cars there but Atreyu was only interested in maybe the first ten and then he wanted to play at the park.  A man there had a golf cart that was all decked out and even made some pretty cool power car noises.  He let the kids sit in it and then gave each of them a golf ball.  Atreyu loved it!
Jesse wasn't able to go so I took a picture of this cool paint job with a skull in it that I knew he would appreciate.
Before we finished looking at cars, we took Atreyu over to the park and then I stayed with him while Grandma and Grandpa went back to look at the rest of the cars.  We played on the horse swings and then he played on the jungle gym at the park.  He's a great little climber and probably would have played all day had we let him.

Cambria had fun playing at the park as well.  Grandma helped her on the slide and got some laughs out of her.  We then went to Arctic Circle for ice cream.  It was a fun day!

4th of July

We didn't do a lot for the 4th this year.  Jesse and Eddie grilled us up some delicious burgers and then we all went to the parade.  We met up with the Petersens and they had found a spot right at the beginning of the parade.  It was probably the best spot we could be in for the boys to get candy.  They threw a ton!  Atreyu is a pro at picking it up but at first we had to remind him to let the others pick some up.  Eventually he would just give some of his candy to Kayden every time he picked it up which Kayden seemed to enjoy since he didn't have to work at all for it.  It was cute!

Jesse had to go to work after the parade and we just spent the afternoon at Grandma and Grandpa's.  I think the combination of the heat and candy got to Atreyu that night because he came into Cambria's room as I was getting her ready for bed and he told me he needed to throw up...and then he threw up right there on the carpet.  Poor kid.  He seemed to not feel to well for a few days later as well but he is back to his usual, charming self.  I love that kid!  Since he was sick, he went bed and we didn't watch the fireworks at all.  There's always next year.

Fun in the Sun

We have had quite a few days recently where we could go out and play except most those days have been very hot.  I decided to take the kids out one day while I weeded the flower beds and I got this super-cute, beauty queen shot of Cambria.  She is just such a beautiful baby.  She really enjoyed being outside until nap time rolled around.
Last Sunday Great-Grandma Kunz wanted to get some pictures with Eddie for this article a medical journal is doing on her.  Atreyu thought that he needed to be in some pictures as well so I took a few and this one turned out just darling.  He loves swinging!
This past Tuesday the Browers came down with their nephew Crymzon.  Annie and I took the boys to Monsters University which they all seemed to love.  Jesse and Cody stayed home and played some Magic which THEY loved.  The next day we let the boys run through the sprinkler.  I totally thought that the brave Gage would be the one running through the most be he didn't really seem too interested in it.  Atreyu and Crymzon had a blast!  I really didn't think Atreyu would like the cold water too much but he wasn't phased at all by it.  It was a great way for them to cool off.  I think I may need to join in next time.
