Our Journey Has Begun

We have been living in our fifth wheel for a week now and everything has gone pretty smooth. We left Bern and started our trip to Arlington, WA on October 20.
The kids and I stopped at Walmart in Pocatello to get an oil change in the jeep and Jesse continued on in the truck. I'm grateful there is so much to do in Walmart. We stayed entertained for quite a while in the Christmas section.
We stopped and stayed the night in our RV in Pendelton, OR. They had a fun truck stop and the kids insisted on getting some pictures.
After spending a couple of hours in Seattle rush hour traffic, we finally made it to the Lake Ki RV Resort. I'm so glad I found this RV park! It is so beautiful! And we came at the right time; the spot that we were assigned to is usually a daily spot only, but since we are moving into the winter season it became a monthly spot. We have a beautiful view of the lake and the playground is pretty much right outside our door.
The third morning we were here, the kids were playing on the playground and we noticed a bunch of ducks down in the water. We walked down there expecting them to fly or swim away but they just hung around. We got some bread and we all had so much fun feeding them. I love that this happened right outside our front door. I'm feeling very blessed to be here.

Cambria and Her Kitty

Cambria loves all animals. She always wants to pet any animal we see. She has a special fondness for her kitties, though. She loves to hold them, and snuggle them, and bring them in the house any chance she gets. I'm so thankful for this little angel in my life.

First Snow of the Season

We got our first snow of the season in mid-October. It was so heavy and the kids were so excited! They quickly got their snow clothes on and ran out the door to play. They made snow angels, attempted a snow man, and threw a few snowballs. It was definitely fun, unexpected weather.

Star Valley Temple Openhouse

At the beginning of October my mom came down and we were able to go the temple openhouse in Afton, WY. It was so fun to take the kids through it and see the kids reaction to the whole thing. They got excited and said they each wanted to be married in the temple someday. It was really special and I'm glad my mom was able to be there with us.
We were also able to stop and get some yummy chocolates while we were there and we all went to Lava Hot Springs with Eddie and Bernie that weekend as well.

Cambria's Photos

Cambria was playing with my phone in the car and she started taking pictures. There were a whole bunch of pictures but these were the best ones.

Travel Nursing

When Jesse took the job down in Salt Lake we knew that that was the start of a new journey for us. We planned on Jesse working there for about a year or so and then we would start travel nursing. Things have happened a little quicker than planned and Jesse has been offered a 13 week position in Everett, WA starting on October 24th. We decided it would be better to buy an RV and put our money to that instead of to rent. We are buying a fifth wheel from a dealer in Nebraska and it should be delivered to us on Tuesday.

We also found a truck online that we decided to buy. It was in California so Jesse and I flew down there and drove it home. I wanted to quick get the truck and head home but Jesse said that we should stop at the beach while we were down there. I'm glad I listened. It was so fun so see the ocean and walk along the beach. It got me even more excited for all our upcoming adventures.
I am so nervous and excited for our future. I am going to homeschool the kids and we are going to live in an RV full time. I know that we are going to have so many neat adventures and I truly feel like this is what we are supposed to do. I keep praying that I will be able to be patient with the kids and that I will be able to teach them everything they need to know. Let the adventures begin!

Football

Atreyu started flag football a few weeks ago and he loves it. He hasn't quite figured it out completely yet but he is getting better and continues to enjoy it. He likes it so much more than t-ball which, honestly, I'm grateful for. I think t-ball is just as boring as he does. I find football so much more entertaining.
Jesse was able to come to one of Atreyu's games last week and I loved watching Jesse give advice to Atreyu and cheer him on. Atreyu was so happy that his dad was able to be there.

Family Time

I love it when Jesse comes home. He's so good to play with the kids and make them feel special. They rough house and throw pillows at each other but they also like to get some good snuggles in. I love these people so much!
One day when Atreyu was at school, Cambria and I had a little hot chocolate party. It was so fun to spend a few special moments with her and I think that I was able to catch her best smile on camera ever.
