Pumpkins

There's a cute fruit and vegetable shop here in Manteca called Perry's Market. Jesse likes to get fresh fruit there and that is where the kids and I went to pick out pumpkins. They had a pretty good selection and it was fun walking around and seeing all the different styles of pumpkins and gourds. Atreyu and Cambria usually like to find the biggest ones, which is what Atreyu did, but Cambria decided to get one of the white "Fairy Tale" pumpkins and Cosette picked out a cute little one.

Cambria still doesn't feel confident to carve her pumpkin, but I do make her clean it all out. She chose this hibiscus flower but it proved to be more difficult than I had anticipated so we went with a more simple flower design. I carved Minnie Mouse for Cosette and Atreyu carved his pumpkin on his own free-hand.
