Oh, Cambria

Growing up, I was the accident-prone child. It seems that every family has at least one. In our family, it's Cambria. She gets hurt constantly but it's not usually bad enough to go to the doctor. On the last day of school, Cambria was playing basketball with a friend and hurt her finger. We waited a couple of days, but it was swollen and didn't seem to get much better. We took her to the doctor and after a couple different visits, getting a splint put on, and thinking she wasn't going to be able to go to Girl's Camp, we finally heard that her finger was not, in fact, broken. She was able to go to camp and just tape her fingers together while she was there. By the time she was home, her finger didn't seem to bother her at all. Thank goodness it was so minimal.
