Pocatello for the Day

Last week I took the kids up to Pocatello by myself to get Atreyu's eyes checked.  (They are just fine, by the way.)  While we were up there I decided to get the alignment on our van fixed and when I took it in the guy said that something else needed to be fixed to get the alignment right and it was probably going to take about two hours.  All of our friends that live in the area were out of town that day so I had to find a way to entertain the kids by myself.  We walked over to the mall which turned out to be a pretty amazing feat with two small children.  We got Atreyu some new shoes and then the kids got to play for a while.  Thank goodness for the play area in the mall.
It was somewhat of a fight to get Atreyu to leave but it all worked out and we made it back to Les Schwab about five minutes before the van was done.  That two hour experience really made me grateful to have a vehicle.  It would be so difficult to try to take kids all over without one.
