The Two Week Mark

I can't believe our little Cambria is already 2 weeks old. How does the time go by that fast? That also means the summer is going to start coming to a close soon but I am looking forward to the fall and holiday season (not to mention cooler temperatures). I took baby girl to the doctor on Monday and he said she's looking good. He thinks they may have measured her incorrectly at the hospital or she really did grow a lot because she had gone from 19 inches to 20 and 3/4 inches already. When we left the hospital her weight had dropped to 7 lbs 1 oz but she is eating well and weighed in at 7 lbs 11 oz at her appointment. She is just so pretty and other than the fact that she thinks she needs to be snuggled at night (something she is starting to get over) she really has been a good baby. She has difficulty burping and we sometimes have to spend a while trying to help her get them out. I told Jesse it's just because she is already a little lady.

Atreyu has been doing so well. He gets a little upset sometimes and just wants to be snuggled but that's completely understandable and I like to get some snuggle time in with him anyway. He loves to give Cambria kisses and likes to lay down beside her on the bed. He really hasn't shown any jealousy and is just as funny as ever. He has been a good big brother so far and I am so happy that he loves her like he does.
