8th Anniversary and Halloween Fun
Jesse and I celebrated our 8th anniversary yesterday. It feels like we have been together forever and at the same time it's like we just met yesterday. I don't know where all the time has gone but I am so thankful that I have Jesse in my life. He is so wonderful at supporting our family and trying to do things to make me happy. I ran a few errands in town yesterday and when I got home, these beautiful flowers were waiting for me. Jesse told them exactly how he wanted it. I love all the different fall colors.
Last week we took Atreyu on a "date" to see "Hotel Transylvania" in Pocatello and he loved it. It was his first 3D movie. Josh and Kim came with us to the movie and Atreyu sat with Kim almost the whole time. I think it's sweet how much he loves those two. After the show Jesse and I took the kids to Texas Roadhouse where we had an excellent dinner. I love that place!! We then stopped at Wal-Mart where Jesse and Atreyu picked out pumpkins for each of us.
Since we ate out in Pocatello we decided that we wouldn't go out for dinner on our anniversary. Instead, I made pasta carbonara and we (well, really Jesse) carved pumpkins. I did dig all the gunk out of them so I should get a little credit. Atreyu picked out the style he wanted daddy to carve for him. It's a vampire pumpkin.
We chose this design for Cambria because she gives cheesy grins just like it.
I am not very artistic so Jesse carved my pumpkin for me this year but he did say I have to do my own next year. ;)
Jesse is still carving his pumpkin. He is making a zombie. As soon as he gets it done I'll post a picture.

I love how nightmare before Christmas yours is! And I'm glad you got to have some anniversary fun. Fitting that it was with all your kids (I'm including Josh and Kim in it as well :)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to hold that sweet little baby again!
