It's already July!! Where has the year gone? I feel like I need to start my Christmas shopping (since I'm weird and I really do start shopping at this time of year). Every year our ward has a float in the parade in Paris and most years the primary kids ride on it. We told Atreyu that he could ride on the float or stay with us and get candy. He replied, "I'll ride on the float and you get me candy." What a smart kid! So he rode on the float while Jesse, Cambria, Cindie and I got candy. It was a hot day and by the time Atreyu got off the float he was sweating pretty badly but he said he had fun.
Cambria seemed to have a good time. She ate candy and waved at the floats. I would tell her to say hello to them all as the passed. She would and then she would say good-bye. She's so cute!
After the parade, we headed up to Brower's for the weekend. We met sweet, little Addie. Cambria loved her and she was able to hold her and baby Sophie. In the evening we did some fireworks with the kids. They were all a little uncertain about the sparklers at first.
We spent the rest of the weekend playing (fighting), having fun (hitting each other), and enjoying some good food. I love that we have such good friends who live close enough we are able to visit often.
