We were able to go back home to Idaho for 10 days in August. It was so nice to be home. I didn't realize how much noise we are constantly surrounded with in California until Jesse and I were working home from church in Bern and it was so quiet. I'll be glad when we finally can stay home but I am enjoying our adventure.
The first weekend we were home, Cam and Janell came up with their family. All the kids had so much fun playing their little hearts out. We went huckleberry picking one day. The kids probably picked for maybe the first 20 minutes and then they had fun using their imaginations in the forest. It was so peaceful listening to the sounds of nature and the kids playing their games.
We went down to Highland a couple days later and spent the night with cousins again. We were able to go to Tyler's soccer game. He did great and the other kids had fun on the playground and taking pictures.
I'm so glad we were able to spend as much time with Janell's family as we did. The kids love their cousins and are always super excited anytime they are able to see them.
