We always love going home to Idaho. It was so nice to go back and escape some of the craziness of California for a bit. We were able to work with the cows, spend time with Grandpa and Grandma, cousins, and friends, and just enjoy being in Bern. Cambria was able to ride the Harper's horse and now she thinks she needs one of her own. I'm afraid that even when we move back to Bern, Jesse will never allow a horse.
Grandma and Grandpa had seven calves they were feeding and the kids loved being able to help feed them. Cosette has her cow sounds down for sure now.
Our good friends, the Huynhs, came up from California to visit with us while we were in Idaho. None of their kids had ever been out of the state of California so it was a new, fun experience for them. It was colder than normal for June but we still had fun showing them Bear Lake, taking them for four-wheeler rides, playing D&D and just spending time around Bern.
While their older son was playing on the big swing, he chain broke. Thank goodness he wasn't hurt. Grandpa and Jesse promptly fixed it (with some helpers) and made sure it wouldn't break again.
We finished up our trip in Malad with the Browers. They took us camping in their new camper and we all had fun just being together.
Annie even took a family photo for us which I love!
