Since Jesse was able to take six weeks off for baby bonding leave, we decided to spend a couple of those weeks in Idaho. Atreyu and Cambria had fun feeding the cows with Grandpa and Grandma every day the first week we were there. They would walk home with Grandma afterwards and make little snowmen along the road. These two are so excited to move back to Bern and be right next-door to Grandma and Grandpa again. We had to make a special trip to see all their creations.
Magnus turned one month old on our trip. He's so sweet during the days but the nights are sometimes still a struggle. I'm glad he got to meet Grandma and Grandpa. This was Cosette's first time playing in the snow and once she had snowpants she really enjoyed it. Grandpa took her, Atreyu, and Cambria sledding behind the house.
We spent one day in Logan celebrating Grandpa's birthday. The boys went off looking at .22's while the girls spent some time in the mall. We went to Claire's and Cosette was so cute trying on all these glasses. These were her favorite (and mine). She reminds me of Garth from Wayne's World. The second week we were there, the Taylors and the Christiansens came up for Magnus' baby blessing. All the kids were so glad to see each other again and we all had a wonderful time making and eating yummy food, playing games, sleeping outside on the Meadowlark Property, and just visiting. I am so thankful for this family.
Jesse blessed Magnus on March 7 at Grandma and Grandpa's house. It was such a neat experience having it at home with just family. My mom, Luigi, and Tim were going to come down to be with us but my Grandma Lind and Luigi both ended up getting Covid, shortly followed by my mom, so they weren't able to physically be there but, thanks to modern technology, they were able to participate through video chat.
We had a wonderful trip with wonderful family.
